Oh, I've been through this. My opinion is that it's better to work with a therapist, get over it and move on than to suffer in limbo. So, subjectively, it's quite a good ending. Kirito will go through depression, a therapist, and move on, alone or with someone. It's certainly better than Asuna's fate to have children with a manipulative psychopath for whom she's just a sow. What i was saying is that Kirito deserves to be cucked by Inoda, he let that happen IRL and FOG i granted Fujino put a lot of effort to make this happen, put that aside for a instance if Kirito was a real person and did the same thing he would be able to complain about being a cuck or deserve any sympathy from anyone or a happy ending.
