See if erasing the saves lets you start the game period, you may have used an older version save or something?? That breaks the game if you do, every time a new version comes out, old saves become corrupted data.

Are there any other games out there with sex scenes of this level of quality or better? I really liked this game until I got to the stuff with Yui. Her being the other guy’s daughter now instead of Kirito’s, then treating Kirito with contempt, & then doing inappropriate stuff with him when she’s a child was NOT something I expected.

I mean, Yui isn't really a child in the original either, she's an AI that's actually smarter than any of the main cast, she just defaults to acting like one because of how Kirito and Asuna found her with amnesia. But even with that aside, despite what a massive plot-hole it is, in this game Fujino specifically changed stuff to say she's "20+ years old" just to deal with that XD (And hilarious is somehow not the dumbest plot hole in this game)

that's exactly it, I downloaded fresh, started a game on the latest date I could to see the scene, picked the option to have low perv and when Asuna leaves to go meet the teacher and Kirito doesn't follow the screen stays black and the game doesn't progress - if I picked the option to have high perv and Kirito checks Asuna's phone before she leaves he'll follow her and the game doesn't break

edit: it was also the second time I started the game - my previous playthrough (same version) broke on the scene when Inoda fucks Liz wearing the succubus outfit... which was kinda sad bc I was like 12h into the game

Weird, the latest version with the bug fixes had no issues for me on the Dark Kirito Route, but I didn't check the Inoda Route hmm.

I do remember some people reporting the Succubus Liz scene caused some issues now, but that's a rec. room-only scene (In the main story you can't see it when it happens), so I'm unsure how that could have broken your game, you would only have had to reload the save, unless you didn't save after entering the rec. room and hadn't manually saved for a long time.

At this point, your best bet may be to just wait until the next update is out as it's supposedly coming out on this weekend and then try and play again from the closest point to that day to see if it still breaks?? I don't remember anyone reporting that part as broken after the latest version with the bug fixes came out.

I'm late today, but dang, Fujino decided to be speed...also, this basically confirmed what I thought, Fujino is essentially planning to take the holidays not to relax, but to work in the game more, at least for the tail end of this update XD



Take into account, aside from being like 80% done by now, he most likely will spend any free days he has for the holidays working in the game instead of being away from home around 10 hours working, so that's a lot more he can dedicate to progress depending how many days he has between Christmas and the weekend XP



"1 Day" isn't a measure to really judge an update on, I feel people are forgetting we got a couple normal-sized updates that were literally "one third of a day" very recently, so it all depends on exactly what Fujino has decided for Monday of the (Maybe) final week. And also of the difference in events between routes.


Also, hey everyone, look, seems like he added a preview after a bit...this seems like a preview for the bad ending, so the route is still continuing it seems, Asuna seems about to service a dude that I can only describe as Inoda's dad lmao

Well he put up a poll regarding the popularity of each route, but I think he's ultimately settled on just continuing with each route regardless of how people feel. Any changes will probably be due to his own feelings.

The general consensus from the polls was people like the bad ending. Fujino once said if he can't get the quality of bad ending to be his standard he will end it prematurely.

King already said it, but yeah, it was more like Fujino was gonna test it. He DID originally get negative reception about it, though, which is why he already reduced the content it was originally gonna have apparently, but in the polls it did relatively well (Which makes me suspect something may have gone iffy given the weird balance regarding it and his previous negative reception seemingly changing so suddenly), so there is that too, but it seems he had already decided to go ahead with it anyway when it wasn't as rejected as expected when it first came out. So as of right now it's a subroute of the Inoda Route too, though ti's unclear if it's planned to be as long as the other two or will end earlier, as he did say originally it was meant to be shorter.

I still hope it's not a third route. What's the point? It’s fine to see once what could have happened to Asuna, but we already have two full paths. Kirito's route is currently lacking content, so why waste time on a third one? I’d like to believe that’s Inoda in a suit, and Kyoko invited them somewhere.

I think a strong portion of the Kirito-getting-NTR'd fanbase just wants to see Asuna get fucked in general, so thats why bad ending is still popular compared to Gigachad route.


If only they realized that the only true way for Asuna to get fucked is to cheat on her in return. Alas...

Got a black screen bug right after Asuna threatens the fake drug dealer and the scene swaps back to kirito on day 7/18. Cant get past it and am pretty deep into the save. Can access menu n phone tho. Any ideas?

The route splits are a very recent thing, now near the end of the game the game splits into two routes: The normal/Inoda Route and the Dark Kirito (Jokingly dubbed 'Gigachad Kirito' by many, originally named Supreme King Kirito by Fujino as a reference to YGO GX). However, there is a third 'supposedly minor' route that's the bad ending one, where everyone will lose and Asuna will become a slut for the bad guys, you can only access it from the Inoda Route by doing specific actions the day after the route split.
