It's not the same an early demo of the game than a proper beta/alpha version later on, he was already pretty much done with what he wanted to show at first.
Peak is here. Test version is about 90% complete.

The rate of development was about 10-15% per month...
I can think of worse... Like half of the devs on this website... Maybe even more...
The amount of games I follow that essentially boils down to drama about devs not finishing their game and stuck in forever development limbo is quite alarming.
I have faith in JaShinn since he have at least release a full game and do keep us updated with actual work to show.

Well, technically "before October" means anywhere from today to the end of September
I'm comparing this to devs who milk those patreon dollars. Waiting until the end of September isn't too bad.

Surely not the case, i think it's because we're already in Summer and he isn't bound by any date or anything.
Hasn't anyone thought about the possibility that he might want/be able to take the summer off and then come back in September, more relaxed and rested, with the cooking done?

I dont know why you quoting me, I'm not complaining about the progress at all. And no, there's plenty of people who's paying JaShinn, me including, to show you subscriber updates.
