He obviously posted the link to the shared folder where you do need an account. He should have posted the shared link for a download without account (seems that for Dropbox those are two different things).
I'd guess the next update drops in December 2025 if everything goes smoothly last year it was slated for December 2024 but got pushed back, and we ended up getting it in January 2025 instead.

Dev dont make any progress announcements but from previous release dates we should be playing it by next month end or first week next year
