Ok. I think a lot of us are going to need the "update only" option, when push comes to shove, especially when the game is several gigabytes in size. So I've altered the app I used last year to create and post most of the "update onlys" for The Genesis Order hoping that some generous individual who can update his game to the latest version, twice monthly, to make "update onlys" from freshly updated full games and, hopefully, share them hereabouts for those of us with shallower pockets. Interested parties can download the app and simple instructions on use as a small zip file from the MEGA link below. The app should work although I'm not able to test it personally myself because, not being a Grand Master supporter of NLT Media on Patreon, I can't use the apparently uncrackable NLT Updater these days.

Any problems let me know and I'll fix them.

P.S. Some advice which I repeated time and again as per updating TGO. Always make an update of your game BEFORE applying any updates so, if something goes wrong, you can roll your game back to its last working version. Do this and you've insured yourself against disaster and a massive download of the whole game if your working game become corrupted and unrecoverable.

Read all this? Hmmm many other games updates 1 month others 2-3 month! this game updates often SO whats the problem
Be happy that this game is free! there are no Sponsors who regulate the updates after there will! and dont listen to others!
Read other gameupdates!!!???? Man "Talk to this and speak whit that"Person", Thats the update you waited fore in 2 month! MY GOSS. Other games "New kontakt (OLD WOMAN) 60 years old???". here you have a fantacy game whit regular updates! So be happy

Actually the game is not free, you are on a pirate site...

It worked as described at instructions but nothing happened. Game is still at 08111 version. But no harm to old files.

S.A.M Studios has explained things but I thought I would poop back to clarify things personally.

The app does NOT update the game. That isn't what it's for. The app is used to collect all of the new and changed files from a recently updated version of the game, made by the official NLT Media updater, and packages them into the smallest update possible to take the game from one version to the next version: it's a tool that can be used by people who use the official NLT Media Updater to update their games, by downloading files from NLT Media servers, to make smaller "update only" updates for others. Step 1 in the instructions how to use the app should have made this clear, i.e., "Update The Symphony of the Serpent using the NLT installer/updater." If you run the app without updating your game using the NLT Media Updater all that happens is you copy files from your game to a zip file and, if you use that update to update your game, copy them all back to your game back to you game again which changes their timestamps and nothing else.

I'm hoping that a particularly generous Grand Master supporter of NLT Media, who can update their games using the official NLT Media updater, might consider using the app to make minimal updates and upload them for us after they update their game locally. I suggest that we keep our fingers crossed that such a "hero" might step up, come forward, and do the do. (y)
