Genuine question. How much resolution do you guys need? lol I feel like some old dude who is used to playing Max Payne and now he is hearing about RDR2 graphics. What's your screen size?

Resolution is not the main issue. The used codec in the videos is more important.
For example TON and TGO uses the VP9-Codec in a MP4-Container (old reliable).
SotS uses VP8-Codec in a WEBM-Container.
The containers and the relolutions are not issues here.
They are both modern and good; but somehow SotS uses an older codec with more limitaions.
To put it in simple terms: A 4K-AVI-Video can not be as good as 4K-MP4-Video.
AVI is extremly old and has many limitations and the resolution will be the least of your render-problems.
It will be full with artifacts, noisy, the colors incorect, fast movements will be blurry and choppy etc.

That looks like a hardware or software issue not a game issue , Restart and update ya drivers then try game

I KNEW IT... C'mon... It's just me, or NLT is trying to playing UBISOFT? Please just return to te basics, this update looked like unfinished, few content and rushed to me... I think that NLT is bitting more then they can chew... They need more resources to do what they are trying to or go back to the basics...

So tenth girl was indeed regal lady from the Symphony of the Serpent trailer as several of us surmised . But who could have guessed lady ten would turn out to be Cleopatra VII Philopator?! WTF? As far as I am aware this first time NLT Media includes a real historical personage in game, not only as a character but actual love interest, all other characters invented by the developer or taken from lore, legend or mythology. As game is set in the imaginary Osira, obviously based on Egypt but not actually Egypt, I rule out Cleopatra as having potential to be cast as a character in SotS. So very glad I am this time to be wrong. And what is Athena (Greek goddess of war) doing bullying God (who may or may not be her father Zeus using alias or title maybe) in what is presumably a part of Arianna's Empyrean rather than home of Greek pantheon Olympus? Aha! Plot thickens delightfully. How very weird and wonderful to see extraordinary Cleopatra as a character in SotS instantly my favourite of favourites from NLT Media game past, present or future. Really love unprecedented twist. Shame every update isn't story based like this because the side-girl thing does nothing for me and leaves me cold.
(Pity update only not available for to download > 2 GB for half hour of game play seems hard going.)

Making assumptions then, I didn’t even know that the truth was so close. Do you know this feeling? When, based on a small handful of information, we put forward our desires in the hope that all this will come true and turn out to be true. I haven't experienced this feeling for a long time, when a developer seems to pick up your thoughts... it's a miracle!!
I'm glad this girl will be in the game! I was afraid that I wouldn't like her. Damn, she's really beautiful and carries the culture of that time!

the "fast" first fix would be to re-encode all animations from the rendering engine with non-retarded settings.
But reworking characters models, especially get rid of the plastic-like skin would also be great
