It's not as good as a pre-rendered video, but it's really good for a real-time solution.

They used to include both high resolution and low resolution videos in the previous games. Video and Video-l files. Now it's all low resolution for some reason. IDK why.

NLT said before the game's release that it was abandoning the low-quality version... I thought it was cool - finally, it doesn't have to do double work to make everything work on weaker devices. Only quality!! And then it happened... the ass.
The result we got was worse than in previous games.

I have heard rumours that NLT will release 1440p videos later.

How I wish this turned out to be true.

Considering this update, it looks like the side chicks are there just to buy the developers some time.

NLT Media gives the game away in last Weekly Report, i.e., "At the end of the week will come the next bonus chapter of Symphony of the Serpent!" So even developer thinks side-girl update are "bonus" and not full game updates it looks like. Bonus chapters in the past only come after game ends and used to provide short content until next game is launched. As suggested I suppose inferior side-girl thing is to allow developers to buy time to devote more to superior story updates.

Small bug.

I had the chest key but I hadn't found the chest.

I decided to call Grace anyway and she came over to my place and offered me both types of Booty Call even though I hadn't found the Karma Sutra page.

But on the summary page it still showed that I was missing a booty call. It was only after I found the chest did that get cleared.

But the bug is that the booty sex was available before the chest and karma sutra page was found.

Worked first time for me. To be honest unlike some of the questions in earlier updates the answers to these are pretty obvious, not only that, but the other options are so ridiculously stupid that even if you weren't sure that that correct answer is correct there is no other sensible option.

So really liked the previous installments especially the first 60% before becoming an orgy fest

Arianna was amazing to close out the 3rd arc for TGO, not into the oracle girl this time. Athena might fill that 3rd arc insertion/fantasy banging cameo role towards the end? Hope they have more teases if she starts taking over bodies. They seem to tease to 60% then suddenly penetrate lol, hope it's less missed opportunity this time. They seem to be moving into a Polytheism/fantasy round so maybe we'll see more temples/mosques in the future lol

They really found their groove with the Asian design, Lucy is hot even in Asians' POV, whereas previous were yikes (might be westerners' types, who knows)

Wish they let other guys have a go too, for variation, and some reluctance to the baddies etc if it doesn't get them banned. Imagine the nerd dad is infected or affected by the magic, and need other girls to help him "ease," or the girl needs to unwillingly bang to open the portal/win the mission etc.

Quite like those magic stones & girls getting confused in TGO

My fav so far are Grace & Lucy, too bad they're both side characters, Grace is on the side of the poster and will become irrelevant later I guess, would be cool to have her following the MC around for adventures, she seems keen. The blonde hooker was pretty different and nice too.
My TGO fav were Heather, Judy, Melissa, Hannah, Arianna. Too bad there is no Heather-like figure this time

I like they have voice actors doing more talking, maybe it's all the same actor with AI lol. The animation and expressions are an upgrade from before again, except when they try to dance lol, please don't, just grind.

Liked how the Grace scene seem to be a combo of main story & booty call

Watched some clips from joystick, he does it quite well, I don't understand why some creators think it's a good idea to read the dialogues pretending to be girls, during the sex scenes too, like lol, bro.

PS. won't be surprised if the governor lady turns out to be Melissa with a wig, 15 years after the event of TGO lol, it's the same girl

This is a very controversial topic. Most women in Asian countries do not like to be in the sun. Moreover, it is popular among them to carry sun umbrellas. Lucy has a beautiful tan that makes her stand out. Mikie Hara has a light skin tone, and from other angles all similarities are lost.

Hm. Who will be the next female, after Empusa, to experience MC intimately? I was hoping for Agrat (based on mention of Empusa in context in previous WR) but thinking about it, realistically, probably more likely to be Grace (most intimacy with MC in game so far) or possibly Lola (based on events in Outskirts West) or even Nia (striptease in MC apartment). Grace is the ingenue unsophisticated Alia type of character so she is most likely but as SotS appears to be on different trajectory than earlier games, e.g., MC first sexual event happens immediately with demoness in the real world, very difficult to predict what is coming.

I know it's all subjective, but Lucy looks nothing like an Asian to me. And I also don't recall anything that would indicate that she's Asian. And before you lump me with "westerners" preference, I'm Asian myself.
