Previous games have worked liked this. Completion of the main story happens around 80% game completion. The game then gets release onto Steam. The development continues with the remaining 20%, adding extras, side-quests, puzzles, the patrons receiving updates every two weeks, but Steam does not get these updates, they next update they get is when the game reaches 100% completion. If you were expecting to see a new game from NLT there, you won't find anything. Most likely, SotS will be released on Steam when it is almost 100% ready.
When ToN appeared it was one of the most popular games not only here on the site.Is it because there are fewer sponsors, so every time the hero of the place shows up late? I remember that every time the update of TON and TGO came out, it would be here very soon.
I suspect a lot of this is to do with supporter fatigue. It is pretty expensive being a supporter, at the cheapest you will be paying around £120 for the game, at the most expensive you will be paying £480 - that is a lot for a game that will sell for £10-£15 when it releases on Steam. That would be bad enough if you were supporting something new and exciting but to be honest, SotS is just more of the same but with a limited isometric view, Add to that the cost of living crisis and I'm not surprised that the number of supporters is falling. This is definitely their least popular game. But they still have over 10k subs, I guess most of them just aren't on this forum lol
NLT has a very noticeable change in the number of supporters. But it remains within 10,000. At the time of the release of new updates, the number of supporters almost always falls, but after a week there will be about 11,000 of them again. These are not necessarily the same people - new supporters also appear to replace those leaving.I suspect a lot of this is to do with supporter fatigue. Sad really. I was turned off of NLT media due to TGO. I hated that game and still haven't finished it yet. I randomly installed SOTS without checking who the dev was and really enjoyed this game. So far, I liked it a lot more than TGOI suspect a lot of this is to do with supporter fatigue. I personally enjoy Symphony the least so far, especially because of this absolute horrible combat system and the fact that way too many chars got introduced too soon. I mean all NLT games have many girls in the end but here it felt bloated like from the start. Let's see if they'll manage to get the better of me. I loved TGO and ToN. Melissa is still the best girl they created imho.Sad really. I was turned off of NLT media due to TGO. I hated that game and still haven't finished it yet. For me, i didnt like the girls or the MC in TGO. Melissa is the police chief, right? She was definitely the best of the lot. The story wasnt compelling either. I tried to get into the story several times and everytime, i just quit midway. For me, sex is not the main thing i like about NLT media games. I just skip through a lot of it to get to the story. TGO wasnt that compelling in that regard either. My favourite would always be Lust Epidemic. Even if the graphics are dated, I really enjoyed the story and the charactersI personally enjoy Symphony the least so far, especially because of this absolute horrible combat system and the fact that way too many chars got introduced too soon.
