So I know that he has at least two contractors who already have quite successful own creations. Plus, there's that Disney guy. Already during ToN, information leaked that NLT is not just one person. It's also highly likely that the game is mostly finished at this point. That's why he can afford to give percentages of the whole.
I'm not denying that NLT has a major contribution to games. He just has perfect PR and keeps a lot of things under wraps.

You think SoTS is a done game, and hes just drip feeding the content? Why would he hold off from releasing the game on steam, where he makes his big bucks?

I'm not saying it's completely finished, maybe the animations aren't finished yet, or it's not voiced, but there have been rumors for older games that the games are almost finished and are just being released gradually. But even if it were finished, why would he be losing all the money he's constantly getting from Patreon? Plus, it's his established modus operandi.
Is there anywhere to track his income from Patreon and Steam?
I'm talking more about developers, actors are a different story.
But have you ever heard what a guy who got his balls kicked sounds like?

There were never any rumors. What it was, was basically a single guy repeatingly making up an unsupported claim that "the game is already complete and NLT is drip-feeding and anybody who believes otherwise is an idiot" claim and then a bunch of sheep nodding along.
What to do - Download the full game.
What not to do - Don't ever skip an update and think the latest update will catch you up on it all. That's literally not how it works.

It's kind of amazing to see just what and how much NLT does personally with a bit of help. I'm amazed that a team of people as small as NLT Media can get so much done so regularly and often, especially considering they develop their own bespoke custom made version of RPG Maker to give them the engine do so.Honestly i hadnt
Players complaining about the length of updates haven't got a clue, should give the grizzling a miss, and enjoy what is a great and beautiful RPG!

You can kind of see the cut corners, though.
