it's kinda more grounded (less magical and less mythological), and as someone who's played all the games to 100% so far, it is a plot driven game (no fetch quests from NPC's iirc). The premise of the game is the mystery of a) a storm and b) a so called love potion. It's really interesting, and although it is set in a Christian University setting, there is little to no Christian theology included in it besides a priest. Playing SotS, it's funny how NLT is trying to tie in all the beliefs together in a weird way. You have an apathetic "Christian" god who has a daughter named after a Greek goddess and is known by an Egyptian Pharaoh queen. I think it's kind of off the rails now because it diverged from the previously established (ToN and TGO) native gods and artifacts to an Egyptian themed setting. LE was also a time where I was invested in the central mystery because it was centered around the aforementioned priest, not mythical sex artifacts and whatnot.I never played Lust epidemic. Is it worth going back to it now?
I was introduced to NLT by TGO when it was about 70% complete. Then went to play TON. Loved it so much (Diana, Nadia, Claire, all so good).
While I dont think SoTS has been all that great so far, I'm open to seeing where it goes. I just can't believe most of the girls are oddshaped with oversized ass, exaggerated giant cheek bones. The only one with somewhat realistic figure is the nurse Lucy.
TLDR: You should play LE
