Guys, thanks to our friends Hardended and Borlandsmen we are now leaving the Dark Ages and jumping straight into the 21st century. Maybe I also deserve a little credit too because someone has to click the render- and upload-button.
It's not a perfect solution for us yet, but we're working on the details.

I work in the scientific medical field and have read many papers on these topics.
The studies come to the conclusion: Tits in 2K are better than 768p and help against depression.
And your well-being is very important to us!

That's right. Enhanced high-definition videos can now open at the correct scale (In the same proportions in which the original NLT videos worked).

And yes - together we figured out the video display settings file in the game so that everyone could get even more pleasure from it.

Then Don Kilot continued to improve his brainchild.

Don Kilot decided to completely remake the 2k mod, focusing on more precise settings to give maximum quality at a reasonable video file weight, abandoning the now unnecessary original resolution. We are lucky that there is a brilliant perfectionist in a person.

Played the game for the first time yesterday and reached the end of the current update. Visually it looks great, but the writing seems a bit all over the place and the voice acting is pretty bad from some of the cast. I don't think much will top Lust Epidemic as that had a really cool murder mystery feeling throughout, but I think I will try and keep up with the updates of this new game.

Before you ask, I know I'm green and have big ears.
You know what they say about big ears, right?

This is a question for me.
The simple answer is: Because of complaints and comfort/laziness.
There were one limit (max. 16 MB/s) on other NLT HD-Mods.
People start complaining. It's too large, please spilt it up.
I don't have premium-account, which means, if a file is not downloaded within 10 days, it gets deleted.
People start complaining again and I was uploading again and again.

This is the reason why I choose AV1 as codec.
8MB/s quality-wise is equal to 12-16 MB/s of VP9.
A smaller size mean less time uploading.
It also looks a lil' bit worse ingame anyway.
My goal in TON and TGO was max compatibility; but thats the goal anymore in SotS.
AV1 should run on 6-8yo CPUs/GPUs. If not... well that's unfortunate.
FYI: I have a "4K+ No-Compromises-Edition" of every HD-Mod on my server (just in case).

I have a personal cloud-server; but this is for work/science projects only.
Next option are premium-accounts from file-hosters.
But I have all the hardware/software- and labour-costs and should pay in addition to that for free services on a pirate-site, where nobody wants to pay anything anyway.
Sorry. This sounds harsher as it should. No bad feelings on my part. I'm just based/realalistic here.

I ran around in the game a little more, and yet, personally, of the two 2k options (old and new), I would still choose the old one. The one that took up more weight 4Gb.. It gave me pleasant goosebumps..
I don’t know if it’s the bitrate or something else..For me the first place in a game about characters with their own sex scenes is the face, leather, hair and eyes.. To make it look more alive.

Like I already said:
The best result would be to render multiple videos with different workflows, overlay them, use masking-technique and pick the best parts and render it again. The issue is when objects are moving the worktime explodes.
