Go back to the mayors mansion, in the grounds, fight the guard on the right, collect the money, go left all the way and up, there is a banana peel there.
Go back to Apex again, 2nd floor, talk to the guard, you will put out the fake rat again, he will run, then return and kick it away, you collect it, then go to the machine in the room, drop the banana peel in front of it, go talk to the guard again, drop the fake rat, he sees it and runs, slips on the peel and you and the girl go into the lab.
In the lab talk, access the key, but when offered to continue, dont, as you need to get the wires which are in the top left corner of that room, once you have them, continue on as normal.
I made the mistake of hitting continue on and now cannot get back into the lab to get the wires

You assumed that the fix is for getting into Lab B. It is not.

Does anyone know when editing the save file what to look for relating to getting the needed wires?, I ask only as I completed the task with the girl to get into the lab past the guard, but, clicked continue on without first getting the needed wires in the top left hand corner of the room, and now cannot get back into said room.
Any help would be amazing, Ty in advance.

There is a bug where you cannot click on things that you may need anymore. Is there a possible patch that fixes this or not. We also cannot buy anything from the store as well.

Completion rate is the first two digits of the version number.
HOW TO DECODE THE VERSION NUMBER
The version number is composed of three groups of digits.
Example: 26 04 1
26 = Percentage completion of the game with this update version.
04 = Month of release. (April)
1 = First release of the month.
