I've restarted the game from the beginning, to check my French translation, and indeed I'm having the same problem as you.
I also checked my saves, some settings, images loading, etc., but nothing helped.
I have no solution at the moment except to take a backup that starts after this problematic scene.
Maybe NLT-Media will fix this bug in a future update, or maybe there's a patch available on their Discord?

You can use the CommonEvents file from the v.30052 to pass through the problematic scene.
Make a save after this.
Close your game and use again the CommonEvents file from v.32062
Re-open your game and launch your save.
It will work.

Money cheating modification​

Applicable to Symphony of the Serpent [v.32062]：

1.Open the attached file "cheat.txt", press "Ctrl+A" to select all, and then press "Ctrl+C" to copy all the content.

2.Use an editing software like Notepad to open the "Map023.json" file in the "data" folder under the game's file directory (it's best to make a backup first).

3.Find "*]}" at the end of the file. Place the cursor at this position, then press "Ctrl+V" to paste the content, and save the file to run the game.

4.Trigger the addition of money here:

The past 2 NLT games have been broken due to a money hack. Do not install this money hack. It will break your game and corrupt your save file. Causing you to lose your current game and have to restart.

Just play the game as normal. It's not even that hard to get money on the game

Yes, there is no need to restart the game.

I used money modification in the previous two NLT games and didn't encounter any malignant bugs. If the save file is corrupted, it may be due to modifying too much money. Given that the game is linear and the name can be changed, if there is a situation where the save file is corrupted without backup, you just need to find a save file with the same progress.

Thank you for the response. I checked the folder and the file is missing (should've known). Where can I get the file? Do I need to re-download the update only file from another server or download the full updated game instead?

Ignore my last post, I fixed it all. Just needed to download the previous full updated game and mix in the updated files into it and everything is working fine.

Thank you so much for this quick solution.
To elaborate a bit more on changing the file, the CommEvents.json file is located in data folder in the game directory.
If you get stuck after entering Leila's lab following the encounter with the other demon:
Make a save before pushing the stabilizer over the wires
Close the game
Copy your current commonevents.json file somewhere else
Replace it with the .30052 file linked
Launch the game
Play through the scene until you get control again in Leila's lab
Save and close the game.
Swap the files back over so that you have your original commonevents.json file in the data folder.
Continue enjoying the game.

Hopefully I've stuffed in the relevant keywords anyone might search. Hopefully it's fixed in the next update, but if it's not or if you're playing before a new update has come out, boom there you go.
