It's Google Translate that does this from time to time. Sometimes it writes in very small print. I don't know why? Yet I copy and paste as usual. I don't speak or write a word in English. If it were up to me, I would make English the official language instead of French, which is very, very hard to learn. And French as a second language.
If you play those games, learn English. It's a fun way to learn it.
Just like I learned English by watching tv/movies in American English...
Google translate also can pronounce the sentence. Knowing multiple languages will only improve your life...
The walkthrough is misleading and full of errors for those starting the game with this version. For instance, V. 29051 begins before V. 27043. Simply follow Empusa's (the oracle's) advice to know where to go. It must be hell to follow. I can't imagine having to juggle between the game narrative and the translations. For every sentence? Damn! You have to learn at least the basics to be able to start enjoying it.Hmmm...
How do you understand the story of this game ?

This was already the case in ToN and TGO, but here it's even worse. If you start the game with this version, v.44101, it's a real mess, if even impossible to follow. e.g.: the fight scene with the lion in V. 32061 starts in the middle of V. 30052, when you have to go to the temple to collect the $5,000 for the gang member standing in front of the temple.As I see some people are struggling to find how to progress. I post a walkthrough (not made by me, found in NLT discord server). This is a step by step guide to get everything. If someone could pin this in OP. I think it would be great for someone who needs it. I will update this comment as soon as the next version comes out

kind of an unsubstantiated claim, considering you haven't "played the game" yet but have such strong opinions.
Just another idiot, the game is fine. Animations are great, it's still fun to play...
If you think French and German are hard, try Russian and Japanese. Klingon is easy in comparison ^^
