The game is working fine, the picture is showing that the cheat mod just doesn't fully appear on the screen and won't let me actually use it. I've been playing the game with no problems, just wanted the mod so i don't have to scrounge for cash to get extras.

I’m not the biggest fan of these mid-month updates anyway, but I think there’s one thing they should change. Instead of the two random NPC scenes, they should switch to two KS pages and only include one random scene. Personally, I have no connection to the random girls and would find two KS pages much more meaningful.

Yeah mid-month updates would be much better if we would be getting 2 KS pages, and it would actually feel more like update if for example they were for girls we got scenes in story update before that

I agree. I generally don't like that NPCs thing. The amount of girls is already too big to keep the focus on any of them. Whenever it's a new scene with some girl I usually feel like "Oh it's that girl that was introduced months ago, what was her name again? Oh, she got a handjob scene, nevermind". I would rather have less love interests in the game but with better build up and more interesting interactions, but who cares what I want xD
I think so aswell. I do not mind geting few nice sex animation, but this is not what I expect from NLT games. I guess they just wanted to make a game longer, without puting so much effort into it.

NLT spoke about this on the podcast.
The updates are something for you to do while waiting for the main story updates. As it allows the team more time to get everything ready. From voiced lines to animation etc.
Maybe NLT should have dropped down to one big update per month. But he tried to keep his old 2 updates a month scheduled
We get updates every 2 weeks, no other game on this site does that. I don't see what the problem is. He can just download an update every 2 months, so he gets more contents. The rest of us are happy with the frequent updates... It's 100 times better than other games like Summer's Gone or What a legend, where you wait forever for any updates...

Fully agree. Some people want more and more. While other devs don't get close to this level of updates

Just to follow up on my original comment: personally, I don’t want “more” — I’d just like to see the mid-month update’s resources used differently. As I said, I’d prefer 2 KS pages instead of 2 random NPC scenes. By now, even the NPC scenes apparently have sound, so it wouldn’t really be any extra work to switch things up (you’d just need to hide another key and chest). I simply have no connection to the NPCs, so I’d find that approach more meaningful. In the end, of course, it’s nitpicking at a high level, and I’ve said before that it’s extremely rare for devs to release content this consistently for so many years. Given how the main updates are structured now, I’m well aware that delivering two of those per month just isn’t feasible anymore.
No that doesn't work, because each individual update doesn't cover previous updates. Skipping ahead 2 months means downloading 4 updates, or redownloading the whole game again, which for some reason people tend to avoid like a plague. Or as evidenced by the collective brain power around here (don't tell me other platforms have smarter people, because they don't), the volume of complaints about "it's broken, I can't do xxx" or "can't find yyy.png" will skyrocket.
Do we really want that?
One month you get, the other you don't. To be honest the last update was the first time, we didn't get a video in the shop, nor a chest to open. So lets see what we get this update...
Psst, I know math is hard for some, but we've had 30 releases but only 16 videos in the shop. Those videos have almost always been a mid-month update thing.
I'm not sure how you do counting.
But I said no video NOR kamasutra page.
(And no hearts). So a rather boring update actually. I can''t remember that ever being the case. Sorry if reading isn't your strongest feature.
