It must be hell to follow. I can't imagine having to juggle between the game narrative and the translations. For every sentence? Damn! You have to learn at least the basics to be able to start enjoying it.Hmmm...

This was already the case in ToN and TGO, but here it's even worse. If you start the game with this version, v.44101, it's a real mess, if even impossible to follow. e.g.: the fight scene with the lion in V. 32061 starts in the middle of V. 30052, when you have to go to the temple to collect the $5,000 for the gang member standing in front of the temple.As I see some people are struggling to find how to progress. I post a walkthrough (not made by me, found in NLT discord server). This is a step by step guide to get everything. If someone could pin this in OP. I think it would be great for someone who needs it. I will update this comment as soon as the next version comes out

kind of an unsubstantiated claim, considering you haven't "played the game" yet but have such strong opinions.
Just another idiot, the game is fine. Animations are great, it's still fun to play...
If you think French and German are hard, try Russian and Japanese. Klingon is easy in comparison ^^

Japanese is okay, the beginning, I found Chinese far more difficult to remember, and pronounciation is a lot more difficult than japanese..
To be honest, I understand what he means. I've played the entire saga, and I have to say that while the team has improved technically, the games quality has declined significantly. The scenes seem soulless. The image quality is beautiful, but they're far too straightforward, too short, and the movements are sometimes strange, not to say awkward and ridiculous, so unless it's a habit of his to trash threads, it's a bit puerile to criticize someone's opinion just because they don't share your point of view. I am curious as to what you mean by the scenes being "soulless" and how would you (in your opinion) improve that?
I can agree the movements of the scenes are sometimes strange: could be due to there being more than just NLT as an animator on this game. Things like that probably take a while to iron out, as there are different styles/skill-sets.
What I think is puerile is saying something is "bad" without providing evidence as to why.
I have no issue with people saying they don't like something, but why consistently show up just to say negative things? To rage-bait? If you don't like it, move along. NLT certainly won't suffer if a pirate on the internet doesn't like what he's doing.
Well, if Japanese is easy with its three different alphabets, you should try Klingon, you could be our ambassador on Vulcan ))
