Really wonder how that rumor about Steam censorship and Incest games manages to stay alive?
Steam does officially allow everything which is on legal grounds as per international- and US federal law. Fictional pornography made with drawn or fully stylized AI-generated artwork does not fall under any bans in these laws. Incest porn between consenting adults is legal too.
Even though they have randomly removed games in spite of this official policy, the removed games seemed to mostly feature anything around (even potential) underage / school content. Like women wearing school uniforms, or the game taking in a place called a "school" even with the actors clearing looking adult. So if anything, the school part would cause a huge problem for this game.
If games are being sold in a cut version on Steam, then this is to avoid legal issues in several countries. For example, law in Japan explicitly prohibits display of pubic hair and adult genitalia. Law in Germany now requires a form of age verification which Steam isn't willing to implement, so Steam completely locks customers from Germany out of all adults-only content no matter how conservative that content maybe.
Keeping in mind that these two countries are the third and fourth largest national economies in the world. Producers would miss significant amounts of money with an uncensored version.
So it isn't uncommon that games have their adult content entirely split as a "content patch" to be downloaded separately without geoblocking the buyers directly. The info about that usually being presented as a "user guide" in the community hub.
This is also what i would recommend to any dev going to Steam, rather than trying to butcher their game content down to the least common denominator.
As laws keep getting more and more weird in various regions, we'd end up with the last porn on earth showing
"a married couple having missionary sex under the bedsheets with lights turned off"

Wait what? Why is it split 1-4 and then 5 separate? That is literally what killed another two games for me because the issue with saves carrying over not working and one of those games REQUIRED saves from the previous "episode". It was an absolute trainwreck.
steam release only happened because of Patreon basically ruining the run it had.

Lets be honest here, Uberpie may had a roadmap before and while its logical to assume he can just use what he has for the redux we may get some delays.
Basically he will have to make a new roadmap and work aroudn on whast he has since being on Steam means he will need to alter many things to fit their regulations, not much i hope but since Patreon nuked him and Subscribestar is slow or not as profitable as the former place he needs to adapt.
I say theres a 50/50 change we get to see faster updates but its a whole new game at this point.

No. Not anywhere near 50/50. 5% chance only because one shouldn't say never.
Bruh..thats the whole reason for this update he has already redone the game to fit steams regulations.

The next step is for Steam to review the actual project, followed by debugging and a few other things. We really hope you like the page layout! We took a few creative liberties, though we’re not totally confident in all the choices since standards can vary a lot between projects.
If you could add the game to your wishlist, that would really help with the stats (though we’re still figuring out exactly how they work).
