I don't know why he pays so much attention to interactive details. Isn't that what people play porn games for? Shouldn't it be new plots, new characters, new tits, new butts? If I want to play games with a lot of interactions and rich details, why don't I play 3A masterpieces?
You've already played the "in development" version of the game, so it is understandable that you want new plots, characters, tits, butts. However, the developer is now taking the "in development" version of the game and making it "retail ready" for sale.
They're working on "finished" versions of the game, starting with Season 1 Redux and working forward through that previous "in development" content until all old content intended for retail is "retail ready" in Redux applications.
They appear to also be adding some new content (and new characters... or new lewd interactions with some previously seen characters that had no lewd content) to each Redux to flesh out stories and to give something enticing for the people who have played Taffy Tales over the past 7 years.
Also, as for interaction and rich details, that's apparently part of Uberpie's vision for the game - which is part of what motivates them to continue development. Take away developer motivation and that's what causes games to stagnate with no further development. If what they think is a lot of interactions and rich details is not your thing, that's understandable - but they aren't developing the game specifically for your tastes (nor for mine, nor for anyone in particular) - but because they want to and/or think that it what their general audience would like. Especially an audience who has never played Taffy Tales before, but who may be willing to pay $25 USD retail per Season's Redux - and therefore may expect more interactions and rich details for their $25 USD.
