Looks like the bulk of the new update is just the beginning of the game remade, which kinda sucks but maybe it's different enough from what we have now to feel completely fresh.

A good portion of the update is reworking the beginning - but there has been nothing said about how much of it is that rework and how much is continuation of the storyline.
See above. Also, the refresh includes "new content" with the new characters that Uber has been revealing over the past several months. Though, the question remains how much of the current story lines moves forward - only Uber knows for sure at this point.
Back after the last update in the middle of September, it was shared that the biggest content complaint Uber received from fans was that the first part of the game lacks the same kind of quality as the rest of the game at this time as well as it doesn't tie into as much as a cohesive story between the first part and the rest. So, he's listening to his fan base about what he perceives is the biggest problem and fixing that in this update.

I look at donating just like I look at any other tip given. Say I am walking down the street and I hear or see a street performer. I may like or even love what they are doing and " IF " (key word) I have money to spare I will give them a tip. I don't see this as a transaction where I expect to receive something more like I just appreciate what I have received. In essence there is no formal or informal contract between me and the performer.
Essentially this IS what Patreon mostly is ( the exception is when the item on Patreon is behind a paywall to get it, does not apply to any Dev that gives a free to play version ). You are tipping because you like it and have no obligation to continue or do it in the first place.
Of course if no one contributes the street performer/patreon devs will likely not be able to continue performing but there was never any agreement from either party that the performer would be able to make a living doing such, nor is there or should be any expectation from the audience/supporters that the performer will continue to be there day after day or what ever the time line is.

I disagree. If it was only about tipping, then all the games on this site would be freely provided by their creators. Why is that not true? Because patreon is a hidden porn game store. You are buying to play the game and see updates on the game.
Yeah, surely plenty people will jump out how they are doing it purely to tip the creator for good work... but that is a loud minority and probably also deluded about their intention. While it might not be "legally" a store, it, for all intents and purposes, IS a store.
It is pretty much a store selling game subscription.
Then how can your theory respond to a ton of Dev's giving out free to play versions of the game? In a lot of cases only delayed for a time and no different then the Patreons access to it. I did provide an exception for games that are only pay walled and there is no Free version to play. In the free version to play scenario it is no different than my analogy.
As far as this site we are pirates whether the Devs provide versions here or not , the devs are not likely stopping F95 from hoisting it. So that part of your theory is moot. It does not matter why the devs do anything as far as F95 is concerned. Look at a lot of successful Devs they offer free to play versions on there own sites in a lot of cases they have figured out it is better a shit ton of people are playing there works because the likely hood of finding people who will tip is increased. the Devs that don't do this generally are not making as much money and their games are niche, hardly a good business model unless you have an advertising campaign. Some do have that you see those games all the time on the tops or bottoms of just about any porn site or even adult game web sites.

This kinda expected. Uber is always bad at estimating the release date, maybe he just wanted to keep his patrons believing on his project. I'm myself find this annoying and probably will stop subscribing once this update come out. Honestly it could been better if Uber not stated estimated release date, because it's always uncertain and leading to dissapointment. I'd rather him to give a teaser than hopium just to keep his patrons from dropping this project.
I agree I wish that all Devs would stop giving estimates of release dates. It does seem to cause more problems then it is worth. That would only work if supporters would stop demanding release dates. This is a key point, can the Devs just ignore what the supporters say they want?
So here we are Devs suck ass at estimating time it takes and supporters want an expected release date. Which brings us to the place we are.
