Saves are not different on PC when using the same number versions, but different hotfixes letters (a, b, c) --- unless a developer otherwise states as such. 0.89.8a-0.89.8b-0.89.8c are all compatible saves.

That these saves are compatible - I'm not arguing that they are. I just mean that, for example, if you play 0.89.8b and then go to play 0.89.8c - initially your saves will not exist. You'll have to rename the register file to transfer your saves. I noticed this only in this particular case, in other cases nothing depends on the letters of hotfixes (those that I managed to catch and in which I had time to play)

To add to Satou Pendragon --- letter hotfixes (b, c, d, e, etc) 99.9% never contain new content. They are bugfixes, corrections, etc. You really aren't missing anything vital by playing v1.07.3c instead of v1.07.3e

NTR = netorare. However, the developer has also included content of the sharing of a love interest and the selling of a love interest. The developer has also stated that other kinks would also go into the netorare (ntr) route.

I don't know if anyone can answer my question, but I'm curious since I see conflicting comments on it all the time. Did the developer decide to stop the NTR route altogether? I know some people weren't fans of it but I actually like it tbh.

no. But it will be a long time.

If anything, the past is proof that Uberpie listens to the loudest segment of his players when developing this. It's the reason why the Netorare (NTR) route has nearly always taken the back-burner in development - because there are more people who don't care for netorare than who do want it ... and within that group of people who do not like netorare, there is a very vocal minority of that group that have been very vocal.

While I am not a fan of netorare (I can take it or leave it, I don't "hate" it)... I do agree that when Uberpie did take time to develop the netorare (ntr) route a couple versions back - that he did get the biggest jump in subscribers and subscription dollars (both in percentage and in actual hard numbers) than any other version release before or since. That should prove to him that it is financially beneficial for him to take time to develop the netorare (ntr) route.

However, since being kicked off Patreon - he's shifted his focus to submitting the game to Steam, something he's talked about doing for years. And so, getting the game ready for that submission means even longer time for netorare (ntr) route fans to wait.

Except you forget that the netorare (ntr) route is the one that uberpie likes most. It's his personal kinks. You're thinking that he plans to end development any time in the next couple years. That's not going to happen. He has bills to pay. Food to eat. Clothes to wear. Places to see. That requires money. As long as he can develop it, he will. Whether it is four years or fourteen.
