Hey friends!
Quick update from us - we took a short break, but we've been back at work for nearly a month now. I'll keep things brief and informative:
  1. We're finishing up a significant physics update for characters, which will be integrated into Season 1.
    Anyone who already purchased Season 1 will soon experience these improvements firsthand. I'm really happy with the results!
    As mentioned before, some restructuring bugs may occur due to the project's scale, but the benefits far outweigh these issues.
  2. I've already added around 30 new text scenes for Season 2 - most are dialogue-driven, but they're all pretty spicy, and many include CG art.
    We've significantly expanded Gerda's storyline (there's now a stronger emphasis on her), as well as Harry, Priscilla, and Maria.
    Honestly, I love this quirky family, and the lack of attention Gerda received previously indicated that we didn't present her storyline effectively enough. We're now actively addressing and expanding her content.
  3. The Japanese translation is complete and awaiting integration following the physics update.
  4. We'll also tackle some logical inconsistencies and minor corrections in Season 1.
  5. I spent nearly a week exploring modern techniques to optimize flowchart creation and reduce logical errors.
    There’s some progress, but with around 1,500 pages of text, many tasks still require manual effort.
  6. New NeToRi scenes have been added, and personally, I think they're quite hot!
  7. Two additional stores are currently reviewing the game. If everything goes well, they'll be releasing it soon. Although their reach is much smaller, it's still exciting progress.
    I’m particularly eager to see how things pan out with DLsite.

My note: WOOO man that Mary photo looks real good!! Also, do you guys know what update is that from? I remember this scene, but I don't know which update it came out on. Perhaps this season we will get the ntr gym scene (very unlikely prob lmao)

Super dope that were getting to Mary route in Season 2. Hopefully this next update can be iterated on in < 6 months

Don't waste you time with simple Wine. You'll need Lutris/Bottles/Heroic/Legenday/Umu and some heavy modified Wine build like Wine-GE-Proton8-26 with dxvk patches or similar to launch Windows version of this game in Linux without crashes. The easiest way to run this game in Linux is to simple add it to Steam Library as custom game and run it with

compatibility package. Everything will work just fine. But not as fine as native version.

wait in the redux edition, i got the credits scene so does that mean the game ended here? or will it still be getting more updates soon?

You finished Season 1 Redux.
It's the "finished" retail version of "Season 1."
If you look at the first post of this thread, there are 5 seasons within the in development version of Taffy Tales that you can go through. The developer says there may actually be only 3... Though I suspect there is still at least 5.
If you go to their itch or their subscriberstar, or skim the previous page of this thread (just 15 posts before yours) you'll see that the developer is working on the Season 2 Redux "finished" retail version.
It's many many many months away.

you're the first to mention both of those problems in this thread for Season 1 Redux. Game writes progress and saves to Windows Registry on PCs.

Also, I recommend saving each game day morning in Peter's room, rotating at least the save slots in the first page of save slots available. Just in case you run into issues.

I don't recall what comes after that. You mention you deleted and redownloaded. So that is good. Have you used any gallery unlockers or other third party code on this version you are playing?

Make sure your OS is up to date (win 10 or later, recommended) and all your video drivers are also updated.

On Android, PlayerPrefs data is saved in SharedPreferences. The PlayerPrefs data is physically stored in /data/data/pkg-name/shared_prefs/pkg-name.xml.

I don't know what version of Android you are using, now on what brand/make and model... But some brand may alter that location slightly.

After playing edux Season 1 Redux do you go straight to original season 2 for continuation??

Simple, or maybe not so simple but also not too complicated. After Uberpie's patreon was shot he was trying to decide which path to continue on. One of them was a Steam release and he went with that, but he also later decided to try Subscribestar. The S1 redux you played is a polished, finished version made for Steam, but Steam said they didn't really like what they were seeing so it was refused from the platform. Nonetheless Uberpie is "reduxing" the whole game, so he is currently working on S2 redux. Btw the old s1-5 is being remade into 3ish seasons, so until that's done there won't really be new content.(a few scenes here and there are added theoretically)
