Progress Update: DLsite & 1200 pages of plot
Hey again, friends! Time for another thrilling update on our work (because who doesn't love detailed reports?). First off, we’ve got some visuals from our DLsite page setup. We liked how they turned out, so naturally, we're making you stare at them too:

Now, moving on to our progress with the plot (script) :

1. We finally launched our DLsite page (currently under review)! Preemptively censored all the CG, characters, and animations ourselves - fun times. The page creation process was unexpectedly quirky and somewhat chaotic, but we've navigated through our first wave of general feedback to fix (mostly rules we technically already knew - thanks, DLsite ). Fingers crossed for more specific feedback soon. Waiting, hoping, and furiously clicking refresh.
2. The entire Gerda and Priscilla storyline is finished - completely rewritten, heavily expanded, and now officially juicier than ever.
3. Clara’s storyline got an equally generous upgrade, ballooning by an number of pages. Probably gonna hit pause on her route for now, just so we don't traumatize the poor cleaning lady more than necessary.
4. Sara’s route is also nearing completion, thoroughly revamped and expanded for your enjoyment.
5. Currently knee-deep in Jessica and Becca’s routes, evaluating what needs tweaking or expansion.

In total, we've already hit the 1200+ page mark for script content alone, meaning most of our recent progress has been all about the writing. Yes, caffeine overdoses are imminent.
In short, we've got the major chunk of Season Two's plot finalized and approved. Soon I'll switch gears to art mode, where I'll inevitably disappear for months trying to outdo myself and improve the overall quality. By the way, all of old art is absolutely beyond saving, so it'll be faster - and less soul-crushing - to redraw everything from scratch ( just like I did for Season 1 Redux). Clara and Becca from previous updates already illustrate the point, not to mention the significant storyline changes for Gerda.
Oh, and thanks again for all your awesome reactions to the physics from our last Season One update - I’m glad our dedication to realism (or something like it) paid off!
Quick note on the NTR route: It can only start alongside Mary’s non-NTR route since they're deeply intertwined, and Mary is central to our story. That means a mountain of work lies ahead. We're carefully weighing when and how to incorporate this storyline into future seasons. We kicked things off vanilla-style in Season One, and now we're dialing up the stakes (and kinks) for Season Two. I'm especially eager to finally deliver the controversial, optional NTR path everyone's been passionately debating. It all comes down to our team's capacity, friends - bear with us!

Other stores are still carefully reviewing our game, and their responses have been rather slow. Nevertheless, we’re patiently waiting for their feedback.

I recommend not making any assumptions or predictions. Things can change on a moment's notice during Uberpie's development cycle. They have before.

Saves have never been compatible for Taffy Tales. They are written to Windows Registry. That is why there are save codes, when applicable, to start at the newest content for a version. The png files you see are just that, images. The thumbnails for the save slots.

Season 1 Redux is the first 20% or so of Taffy Tales - mostly from the first year of development (2018), with some added content. It is "finished" for retail sale.

v1.07.3 is named Season 5. It is not a Redux. It is "in development" content. Currently, it is about the last 20% of content developed, but it is not the final 20% of Taffy Tales. The developer hasn't finished the story, at this time.

It’s time for me to give you an update on the project and share what we’ve been working on.

1. The story and writing for the first build are fully complete. Once all the artwork is complete and the scenes are assembled, I’ll likely add another 10–15% of content to fill in any gaps in the story, dialogue, or spicy moments.
2. The story has grown wide, meaning we’re progressing more slowly along the main path, but with a lot more meat in each step. I know many of us are eager to see the pregnant bellies, piercings, tattoos, and those wild eyes full of lust and pleasure - all the stuff you love. But rushing into that would kill the whole character development arc and the real soul of the project - its middle. We want to make sure the payoff feels earned, not forced.
3. I’ve added the beginning of the (entirely optional) NTR route, similar to how we kicked off the main route in Season 1. It starts off pretty predictably with Darnell and Mary. I won’t lie - it’s just the beginning of this new branch, so there’s not a ton of intense content yet, but the tension builds with each scene. If this direction is something you enjoy, there’s much more to come. And yes, this is a completely new NTR storyline - even our long-time followers haven’t seen it yet. Personally, I think it turned out richer and more logical than before, and I really hope you’ll like it too.
4. I had to completely redo all the art, CGs, videos, animations, items, and character designs for the censored version for DLsite. That’s on me - I didn’t realize their pixel censorship rules were so specific. Hopefully that effort wasn’t in vain!

I hope I’m keeping the quality up and continuing to surprise you. Repetitive tasks can be exhausting, so switching between writing and art helps keep me energized.

They are working on Season 2 Redux. So, pretty much content from 2019-2020, with a bit of new content added in. Just like they did for Season 1 Redux.

You can play v0.89.8 to see some of what will be in Season 2 Redux, as well as what should be seen in later Redux versions.

in previous versions, the phone call to the doctor near the beginning was always interpreted as where the netorare route would be triggered: lie = main route, truth = netorare route. We'll see if that changes in Season 2 Redux.

Just hoping that at least the route and scenes are actually good; the old stuff with the gym and jogging was nice but I genuinely think that we didn't get more on that update cause uberpie was scared of the community (yes, the update itself was big a NTR route, but it was so many stuff at the same time we not much hot/sex stuff); hope for the best. and we cant even dream with beast stuff anymore, the guy will probably dele the dog and horse references and render on the load screen so people stop bothering with it
