He keeps saying "very soon" but yet not once said it will release as planed date (28/Jan) upload game on subcribestar.....
Is he planning on another delay?
Is he planning on another delay?
But it does contain sexual violence of nonconsensual sex, which is against Patron rules. No, the project does not contain serious violence (definitely not more than other Patreon - supported projects)
um, yeah, Steam owns the site, and they interpret as they see fit. Also, what drugs is Uberpie on that he thinks there is no mention of "a school" in the game? That's like half the scenes in the game.on Steam, it’s for existing in a "grey area." They’ve decided, based on their own interpretation, that it feels like a school setting - even though we’ve taken every measure to ensure otherwise: the lecture hall setting, clothes style, clear warnings that all characters are over 18, etc. But none of that seems to matter. There’s no mention of a school or anything related to it in the project.
Yes, of course they can. And they are saying it will.Just Wanted To Give My 2 Cents RQ Okay Correct Me If I'm Wrong But Can't They Still Just Use Subscribestar To Continue Their Work Since People Support Them (I'm One Of Them Hi!! ✌).
Everyone has their own opinion, you need to play to decide yours.Does the AI art look bad? I'ma miss his old art, haven't played it since the 0.7 days I think?
Possibly. He keeps saying "very soon" but yet not once said it will release as planed date (28/Jan) upload game on subcribestar.....

not weird at all. They had to review the content before they made a decision.A weird choice on steams part to have their page up for months before removing it. At the same time, I was expecting this more early on. Idk why people were saying Steam was more lax with their rules than patreon.
They are currently grossing just as much $$$ on Subscribestar, if not more, than they did on Patreon before they got booted.but the future doesn't look bright and I could see this getting abandoned if the substar stats can't cover staff expenses.
To my knowledge, Steam is cracking down heavy on school uniforms in adult games. Poor timing really, and I was actually thinking of getting the game on Steam if it released. I know other devs have had issues before and they just made changes to their game to fit Steam's standards and try and upload it again under a different name (I don't really know the specifics as I'm not a dev).Game no longer listed on steam page...... is it dead?
You haven't read the news have you.Honestly, I think KaguraGames plays it best as a publisher. Release a "SFW" version of the game that nobody is going to play, and have a separate patch that everybody applies to their games to enjoy the intended product.
so its a dumb idea lay all eggn in One Basket With Steam? but not with Subscribestar thats going against your own ideaJust Wanted To Give My 2 Cents RQ Okay Correct Me If I'm Wrong But Can't They Still Just Use Subscribestar To Continue Their Work Since People Support Them (I'm One Of Them Hi!! ✌). I Really Don't Want This Project To Be Lost I Feel Like That's The Only Way To Keep It Alive After Everything That's Happened To Them. Also I'm I The Only One Who Didn't Think It Was A Good Idea For Them To Put Their Eggs In One Basket With Steam And Should Just Stick To Subscribestar Only? Let Me What Yall Think (And Apologies If My Wording Sounds Off)
bro why are you here if you dont like the gameBut it does contain sexual violence of nonconsensual sex, which is against Patron rules.

I realize that Uber pie changed it to a "college" in 2018 to appease Patreon... But the dialogue and narrative says "school" and "teacher" and "principal" far too often but not "dean" and "instructor" /"professor" and "university"/ "college" enough

bro it was just removed from steam what are you on about?Kinda scammy to me, to work on steam version and still gather support on subscribestar. I'm pretty sure most subscribers donate for continuation of a story, not for reworks of old content.
Never said I didn't like the game. Please show me where I said that?bro why are you here if you dont like the game
You would be kidding yourself.Kinda scammy to me, to work on steam version and still gather support on subscribestar. I'm pretty sure most subscribers donate for continuation of a story, not for reworks of old content.
well i did say if you dont like game then why are you here never did i say you didnt like it but it dose seem to dont like the gameNever said I didn't like the game. Please show me where I said that?
It's so funny how I'm called Uberpie's dickrider by some and his hater by others...
You would be kidding yourself.
Uberpie created the subscribestar after he announced the intent to submit the game for consideration on Steam. We've already had this conversation several times in the past year here.
Also, you do realize why platforms like Patreon and Subscribestar exist, right? Because it allows creators to earn an income WHILE creating something so that they can have an opportunity to pay the bills and make a living rather than slogging through with debt and loans during the development process. Without such platforms many of the games you play on this site would never have been started.
The platforms aren't a replacement for retail.
Remind me never to ask your opinion on something.well i did say if you dont like game then why are you here never did i say you didnt like it but it dose seem to dont like the game
The problem is, it looks like uberpie got a whole year of support for doing steam version that now is irrelevant, and for most supporters always was. While I doubt losing steam was intentional, it happened. So now we have a year of supporters money spent on supporting team with irrelevant work. You would be kidding yourself.

am i wrong tho if so then please show me that im wrongRemind me never to ask your opinion on something.
They still have SS. As long as they deliver updates to the game, not reworks, I dont think their money situation will worsen much. The refusal of Steam really means a huge loss of money to the team. It's no strange that some one would leave while remainders need time to consider the game updating plan as well as their own future.
No. The Steam version is simply the usual code with some added things (usually). They shouldn't have much to do to make it available without steam. How do you think games on here work that are pirated from steam? Uploaders here don't do some voodoo. I don't think you're aware how it works. The problem is, it looks like uberpie got a whole year of support for doing steam version that now is irrelevant, and for most supporters always was. It is a murky waters to make a promise that you might not legally deliver.

Again, their gross income is as much now on Subscribestar - if not more - than as they were when they were booted off Patreon. The refusal of Steam really means a huge loss of money to the team. history has shown their income won't dip that much and that they don't have to deliver anytime soon and still maintain subscribers. They still have SS. As long as they deliver updates to the game, not reworks, I dont think their money situation will worsen much.
so how is it Uberpie that steam choice to remove just be4 it comes out huh?No. The Steam version is simply the usual code with some added things (usually). How about my over thousand posts helping people with game play, pushing back on outrageous biased opinions that they attempted to mask as honest criticism. Also, my FAQs and my post of media files, including playthroughs, etc.

Now, you will also see criticism where it's due. Such as Uberpie's notorious lack of communication and shrugging of responsibility to blame someone else when he was the person at fault, as well as his lack of attention to detail.
Now, I didn't have to share proof. But don't you feel foolish now?

I don't mean that steam version is unplayable, just that it now have no point to exist.No. The Steam version is simply the usual code with some added things (usually). I just wanted to know before I downloaded it cuz that's download time that could be going to a different game/artist. Other people's 2 cents may not be a deciding factor but it'll be helpful.Everyone has their own opinion, you need to play to decide yours.
