So his 12$ or less subscribers didn't get access to the game ... they helped to fund the steam release and they get nothing, idk they kinda got screwed

no if you was subscriber then it amount of month sub and then amount total meaning if you pay 3 dollar for 9 month that 27 dollar and you will get the game as they dev wanted the people who been sub since a year to get the game they pay for

What about the person who signed up for $7 for the last 3 months expecting to get access to the game update or the person who signed up for $12 for last 2 months expecting to get early access to the game update like the subscription tiers promised (until today when Uberpie changed his subscribestar page)?

BTW - this is rhetorical. We all know the answer is - they got fucked. But that's on them and their money. That's why I am a firm believer in downloading from here for free or only supporting developers who make their games free to everyone to play, no subscription or retail price required.
