Also, "milking" says a person who comes here to take most/all of the adult games they play without compensating the developers.
Insane take man, unfortunately the pattern of pgame devs is way worse than our pirating honor here.

Devs tend to do this often, very much to the point that it genuinely detriments the progress towards a finished product, let alone any coherence to a project's story or overall feel. Some games have straight up become drywells of dev's milking while others are extremely bad behaviors perplexed by the way they develop their game and take in community as a huge portion of their project. Patreon voted characters in any game always add more workload to the game's community wants vs the actual initial vision. Sometimes it works out because the game is based on something that does work with that, while others just literally at some point close down projects and restart again because of it.

No. They do not. You have no clue and are simply thinking the worst of people. That says a whole lot more about you than it does the devs.

The number of bad devs are very few. Most of the accusations made are by people who have no clue what it takes to create something and how long it takes. They are simply impatiently waiting to shoot their spunk in their cum sock to new scenes and can't be bothered to wait a sufficient time.

And again, even in the cases of the very few bad devs, it's hypocritical for people who knowingly take games from here for the purpose of never compensating a developer to them point fingers at the developer for trying to make a buck while the self same hypocrite is taking.

Again, I have never subscribed to or paid a developer found on this site --- but I'm not going to be a hypocrite about it.

Have a great day.

too bad

I mean, I take them all too but I am not hypocritical about it.
Me stealing content has nothing to do with a developers work ethic or ability of that developer. 7+ years in development into a rework is odd, that was my opinion on the matter. We can just leave it at that I guess.

Not being afraid of throwing out bad code or rewriting full sections of your software is one of the core concepts of extreme programming.
I had a lot of success with it in my career.

Still when applied here I would have seen as more beneficial to either do a parallel development: s1 retail and s6 (5 part 2?) both with the new art and code approach.

Maybe it is a matter of resources, maybe it is a matter of a writer block or looking for the right writer to go ahead (please keep away the ntr writer from the main route), only the dev team knows.

Overall, no one can deny the success of TT, the only complaint could come from patreons that got screwed over the s1 redux distribution.

I'll wait a full season bundle before buying it anyway to avoid futher surprises, the game has enough traction as of now, so my preference is to support smaller (and more engaged) devs.

After finally completing the Redux S1 I clearly see that its way more "commercial" and "zoomer" oriented than good old TT games. In old games we had to spent quite a lot of time without any sex scenes to be rewarded with all kinds of deprivation waaay later. The Redux is teasing NTR and degenerative sex in so called "visions" right from the start, obviously to hook the modern players with short attention span. Also dev removed all choices (like to allow other boys to rape Clara or not), made few things way simpler and added a ton of animations, wobblings and shakings - all to capture the eyes of modern 18 year olds. Good job! And everyting looks like a candy now! AAA+!

But for people who completed all old TT games there's almost nothing new and it's just a lot of wasted time. If was fun to replay an old story in "modern" look with "upgraded" arts and animations. But it would be way funnier just to continue the main story where it stopped while ago...

So I'm not the only one who noticed that NTR writer's writing is far worse than the way LostRaven wrote. There are certain places in season 1 of redux that are just glaring. It's too clumsy, unnatural. And the worst thing is that Lost left and now everything new will be written by this guy (if Uber didn't hide the fact that he found another writer). If anything, the fact that I don't like NTR has nothing to do with it.

About the parallel development, I totally agree. I originally tried to justify the redux by saying that it would be pretty fast + Uber would pay more attention to the quality of art (after all, I thought he had a good grasp of AI art by then thanks to experience from versions 0.95 and 1.07), but after what I saw in the first season of the redux, I realized that the game started to remind me more and more of Summertime Saga (in terms of remakes and everything related to that).
