Don't forget Shut Up and Dance. Like, its a mess with that game, you don't even know whats new or whats old content, since the developer suddenly "re-work" it when it going to the plot climax, just like Taffy Tales. Its like these developers suddenly became imbecile at the most critical point, or just straight up intend to scam their patreon. Shameless. Why do devs insist on "reworking" and in the process completely fucking up their games? I can't really think of an instance where it worked out positively in the end, yet just of the top of my head i can think of a few different examples where it wasn't worth it at all.
"Our red string" rework recently got released after months of development time and it was a total letdown imo, the game was fine before that.
"Because I love her" was gonna get a v2 after dev rushed the first game and he's nowhere to be seen for months at this point.
"Summertime saga" I have not played for a while, but judging from the new art and iirc people weren't impressed.
And now I see this game receive the same treatment. It really is fascinating(not in a good way), you would think that devs would've learned by now, but here we are.
I personally think reworks could work, but only after finishing development of the game first and only after that going over and fixing stuff.
Check update log, it must be like adbadeSomeone have the code to skip mini games? I'm more de reading type
Don't see anything in the update log that says anything that should cause problems not using any saved games just instealled it and opened it and it just crashes with then after going through the opening if your an adult and who made the game.Check update log, it must be like adbade

No, there's a bug currently with adding and removing items from inventory. I would bet money that the guys problem is that the flags for placing the cameras have been tripped, but the cameras are still in his inventory so the check on if he can leave the house is thinking he hasn't done it yet.it worked fine for me, just place the cameras leave the room and talk to Gerda
its funny, i do think there were plenty wrong with the original start, thing is, i did not think it warrant a remake, as it was bad, but not something worth fretting over. this new one however, somehow made it worse by leagues of magnitude. its almost comical how bad they managed to bork it all upYeah, this remake was completely unnecessary. Neither the story nor the gameplay has seen any significant improvements or changes that warrants a remake being made, much less considered by the developer. There was nothing wrong with the original opening and the more that I think about it, the less it makes sense the more you go along. Because if you've already played up to this update, you would know that the context behind the situation makes such a start...implausible to say the least. And that's quite shocking to say, considering that the entire premise is completely unrealistic to start with in the first place!
But even so, none of what happened in the remade introduction gives any indication as to there being any rational thought behind adding a scene like that. If anything, it kind of felt like the developer just...decided to start over because there was something they didn't like or that they second-guessed themselves because of what someone close to them had said. I was enjoying the story so far, since it seemed as though things were beginning to really get interesting with some characters. Sadly, it seems that most of that was thrown by the wayside in favor of a largely unnecessary restart instead of progressing the story as normal. I hope that this remake will justify itself as time goes on, but...I'm starting to doubt that will actually be the case.
then why make it unity then? i fail to see anything worth from using unity instead of renpy. the game is more buggy, looks renpy enough, takes longer to develop, and worse to implement save compat betweenUnfortunately these are the same people who stop reading after the first 3-5 words "too much, brain hurt" and not see that basically the entire game was rebuilt and re-done to work better together, react to actual story choices, etc.
I am sure some will say "blah, it's a re-work = milk" but in Unity that's NOT the same as in Renpy...
i know that, my argument there was not for the tag(yet) but against his point of them being the same thing from diferent angles, which, kinda but that angle makes all the diference. the tag argument was later, about how the definition to what is netorare is skewed by personal definition and taste. i even explained that to some people, it can mean something more obvious, but to someone else, just the insinuation is enough to constitute ntr.Incorrect, netori games are not tagged as NTR, and if that happens by mistake you should report it. Netori games are either just not tagged, or fall under general "cheating" while netorase is covered by the swinging tag. Only Netorare is covered by the NTR tag.
dont get me wrong, i 100% agree with ya.Because the main dev who has the most authority over FET is a legend. He's the one who communicated with his Patreon often about troubles he was having with the game as they happened. He listened to his community intensely and tried his hardest to keep talking with those that worked for him. The only problem FET ever really had was with it's coder. I remember the coder seemed to feel like his skills were being limited making FET and therefore attempted to showcase his abilities in minigames (that everyone shit on), which in turn led him to being burnt out the majority of the year. With Taffy tales the main dev doesn't seem to communicate with his workers/community very well. MITY said he would have hired a new one if they weren't so deep into production, and the time it would've taken to replace him and teach the new coder would've been far too long.
I don't mean to nit pick but the coder Cbob was the main dev it was his game and the artist who eventually took over the project Marty was hired on to do art and eventually once Cbob fell ill took full control over the game as well as MITY.Because the main dev who has the most authority over FET is a legend. i thought it was something like that, but its been a long time since the start so i wasnt sure if i was misremembering it so i decided to not talk about that.I don't mean to nit pick but the coder Cbob was the main dev it was his game and the artist who eventually took over the project Marty was hired on to do art and eventually once Cbob fell ill took full control over the game as well as MITY.
Yeah not to go to far off topic but Cbob was also the main writer and it was his creative vision that really made that game shine. Marty did a really good job after Cbob left with writing and learning how to code but truthfully he had a solid foundation and road map to work from. The true test for MITY going forward is if Marty can create a good concept and write a story to match it. I am rooting for him and I think he can but I want to see him take some time to come up with something good and not rush things in an effort to try and hold on to a few patreons. I think MITY's fan base as a Game developer is pretty strong and many will continue to support him.i thought it was something like that, but its been a long time since the start so i wasnt sure if i was misremembering it so i decided to not talk about that.
