That never made any sense. If using AI would make the process faster then it wouldn't have taken more than a year to release Season 1. I expect that the year-long wait is now the norm with the game.
It's not even just the AI. It was "the foundation of the game is already done" and "the story is already there".

Like yeah theoretically all of this should speed up development but the critical misconception is that the devs are actually working. All of these things that should speed up development are just giving the devs more time to laze around and do nothing lol.

AI was never meant to, and for well-done AI (whatever that is in your definition) it will never, speed up development in any game found here. Anyone who told you it would, was selling you snake oil.

As for whether devs are working or not, doesn't bother me none. I'm not paying them to work. I'm taking it all without remuneration.

idk what to actually say to the first point. I don't really know of a game that had great art before and then downgraded to AI art, so there is literally nothing i can compare it to. Usually its just used by people who can't draw or just to assist in drawing the background or something, it increased the quality of art in both cases but didn't improve the time. But its not really comparable to this.

Well it bothers me. These guys should be up in the hall of fame for scumbag porn game devs, if not right at the top. Legit struggling to think of a more morally bankrupt dev team. People were pissed off about the yandere game dev? hoo boy if they only knew about Taffytales.

I don't remember much from the time I tried to play this game a long ass time ago. The artstyle was always kind of a turnoff, what's been happening with it for the past twoish years?

quick question wanted to support the dev bought the game but it says the community edition what is that is there a "official" edition?
if you bought it from itch, you have the official version. You still need the official patch for all content, however. If you bought it, you should download the official patch from the link found on Dev's subscribestar.

If you don't remember much, then what would be the point telling you? You have nothing to compare it to. Short answer: the artstyle is the same/similar as it was when you played. Even though the dev has moved to AI, it is AI trained on their art.

Just download what you want to play:
Great question. It all depends upon what you want to do.

Do you want to play a version with a lot of content? Go play v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" and then v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- these are both the "in development" versions, not "finished" retail.

If you strictly want a netorare playthrough, play the short completely optional and separate netorare route in v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- this is the "in development" version, not "finished" retail.

Do you want to see 4k images and video with some additional content added of the first 20% or so of the game, all of it in AI generated art? Play Season 1 Redux. <-- this is the "finished" retail version, nothing more will be added to it. Further Season Redux versions will be separate downloads in the future.

Because of itch's rules, Redux has violating content removed. It is unpatched. If you want the content, download the official patch and install it within the Redux. See instructions in the installation spoiler.

I'm shocked. Since the patch that restored the content was released, probably 9 out of 10 posts are somehow related to it (5 questions about why it says “this route was edited to comply with platform guidelines,” 4 replies from Count Morado, 1 constant whining about how terrible the game has become). And while I can understand the latter guys, I can't understand why people can't look at a couple of posts above (not to mention that the main page says something about the patch).

I've bought the redux 1st season of this game from Jastusa, is the game supposed to end abruptly? looking through the download section on this thread, there're 5 seasons of it.... Does that mean the redux version only covers 1 season out of 5?

Yes. Season 2 Redux is being worked on right now and will be sold separately. Then Season 3, etc.

I can't even find him in the kitchen at home.
There are video playthroughs on YouTube. With timestamped tasks.

This appears it could be the gym quest? You have to read the dialogue and narration. It almost always tells you what you need to do just before a task shows up on the list. If you've never played this before, skipping dialogue and narration will confuse you.
