Although the English posts pass as likely human-written, I am under the suspicion that Uberpie either has someone else writing them or he is writing in his native French and having AI translate.

To the AI allegations I meant like the written posts but now that think about them, they probably also Ai generated.
If spending 15 minutes every week to post a little update note is to much for him than I guess I expect to much of him. (because that's what I would expect from a "project" this size)

And my response is that I've already checked several of them for AI. They pass as likely human (99%+) from AI checkers. However, if he wrote them in French and had an AI translate to English, it is less apt to pick that up.

The art, videos, and music have all indicated likely AI generated to date since July 2023, when checked.

Oh the personal lapdog is here, of course I like more frequent updates, if I didn't I wouldn't complain about it, I don't care about what shit excuse Uber pours down our throats this time but for someone who generates images and brags about how much spicier the next update gonna be he keeps being silent for extended periods of time. It's not like he doesn't know that, with all the AI he poured into this game I'm suprised the posts he puts out aren't Ai generated on a weekly basis as well.

I'm surprised someone is expecting something from Uber after the redux stuff, and his former writer Raven also suggested the guy has no plans. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts reworking his redux games

Uber leapt onto the AI train almost immediately, and firmly believes AI will replace us all etc.

Increasingly, scripts were done on a whim like basis. By that I mean, It went from me writing scripts and planning > to being dictated what the scripts would be > To frankenstein scripts.

By the time I left, massive constant changes to the same script over and over again was common, random scenes and things interjected just because to the point they became *frankenstein* scripts, scarcely resembling even what they would usually outline wanting in their script.

Given that was the environment even before AI, AI is almost perfect for Uber, because it fits their needs perfectly... As in, whatever idea pops into their heads, it will churn out for them to ram into the next nonsensical script.

I will add, it was *very* clear to me I think, my days were numbered with Uber the minute AI appeared.

... But hey, the game still has its superfans and such, so if they're happy, whatever I guess I got my own projects like parasite Black to focus on.

you have to play Taffy Tales for a bit for the folder to be created. copy the directory path the post provides and paste it into your file explorer location bar.

Or better yet... Just play Taffy Tales and unlock it yourself.

There is content removed from the UNPATCHED version that the PATCH restores.

Do you want to play a version with a lot of content? Go play v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" and then v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- these are both the "in development" versions, not "finished" retail.

If you strictly want a netorare playthrough, play the short completely optional and separate netorare route in v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- this is the "in development" version, not "finished" retail.

Do you want to see 4k images and video with some additional content added of the first 20% or so of the game, all of it in AI generated art? Play Season 1 Redux. <-- this is the "finished" retail version, nothing more will be added to it. Further Season Redux versions will be separate downloads in the future.

Because of itch's rules, Redux has content Uberpie thinks could get it banned on itch.io. As such. That content is removed and is unpatched. You're talking about the writing for for "ntr route" in v0.95.7 "Season 5" that came out in July 2023. In v1.07.3 "Season 5" in Jan/Feb 2024 there was no new "ntr route" content.

Lostraven left early 2024. Since that time, there has been no new writer introduced and nothing in the credits listed, either. Just Uberpie's name.
