2. There is a big point in the game where they note that she did stop giving him medication at that time, did you miss that
   whether she did it by choice, or because it would have interfered with the hospital meds I don't know

1. From the perspective of the child, yes they are. There are loads of books, anime and characters like Eleven from Stranger Things that deal with the fallout of being raised by scientists. Granted, you make a good point about Mary not necessarily being his birth mother. That was my assumption.

2. Red's voice starts right when the MC returns home and speaks with Mary after being struck by a car. He has a thought about Mary's ass, questions why he would think that and then collapses and goes to the hospital. If there's some info later that says she stopped giving him meds on that exact day I missed it. I only remember the reveal about the pills that happens much later in the story.

note: I have never said he couldn't be her son, There is nothing preventing someone from experimenting on their own offspring, and nothing preventing a woman from adopting her former labrat and loving him just like any other mother.

My main point on the original post was challanging the assumption she was his mother, I was not making a definative statment of who she was one way or the other.

Have you ever met someone on meds for a personality disorder (I don't know the names/terms), how they complain about feeling numb, how they want to stop the medication just so they can feel something again.
Thats how I see Red, he has been suppressed so much that the returning sensations/emotions are overwhelming.

I actually do know people like that, my father was a shrink with a private practice he had his office in the house so I met a lot of them over the years. The problem is the drugs they have to treat these things are totally fucked up and make the person feel dead but the people who really need those drugs are so fucked up without them that they can't function normally( god I hate that word normally, WTF is normal anyway) and end up hurting themselves or worse yet the people around them.

I see Red as being so possessive that it has morphed into an emotional attachment I view Red and the MC as two sides of the same coin classic schizophrenia , the two sides are slowly merging influencing each other The MC is most certainly being influenced by Red so why wouldn't Red be influenced by the MC?

Its all speculation from everyone here , it is interesting to bounce our idea's off each other I discount none of what is said nor do I think anyone is wrong at this point. The time line is so all over the place there are plot points that may take place earlier or later and until the game is finished it will be really hard to figure it out for sure. I plan my self once this is finished to read back on this thread and see who had it right not for gloating but purely academic. assumming we are all still here at that point wont it be cool to see who's hunches were more correct? I think so but I am a straight out weirdo for sure at any rate I mean no offense and I take none either.

No offense taken , but did I say "proves" or was that someone else? can't seem to find that in any of my posts maybe the part where I say " so that blows any theories of MC not being her real son at least it sounded like that " but there is the qualifier at the end of that sentence when I say "at least it sounded that way" means that there is question as to weather it actually is true. I am sorry my style of writing is hard to pin down because I am almost never definitive being there is no way to know the truth.

At the very beginning of the game after the car accident you're supposed to go home and go into the kitchen. But if you try to go upstairs it says verbatim '(Hmm... I hear noises coming from the kitchen. It's probably just mom, but I should go check it out first.)' Those are MCs thoughts. The game won't ever outright claim she's his birth mother because it's against Patreon's ToS. But, it's the only thing that makes sense if you're not just being obtuse for the sake of it. Until the game explains who MCs actual birth mother is and why she's not taking care of him then it's Mary. And adopted/step family is also against Patreon's ToS so that's not gonna happen anytime soon.

its cool bro , I am pretty easy going I just was not sure what you were referring too, thats all. I am 6 hours behind you but I stay up kind of late these days, winter sucks going to be -30F plus here tonight so I have been kind of glued to my computer for the last few weeks. I hope they've researched the potential things that can get you permanently banned from the listings. A single mention of "highschool" will get you banned with no chance of appeal. They'll need to pretend the school is a college to be accepted by Steam's guidelines.

Should result with the site Mejoress as the first, or nearly the first, site and it has a comprehensive walkthrough. Also, this game has a shit-ton of playthrough videos on both YouTube and adult websites, if you get really stuck.

Hit the end of the current content and damn, it's about time the MC finally found grew a backbone and started showing more assertiveness, shame it had to come at the tail end of such a revelation though, although it opens for a possible much darker path to Mary, and IMO she totally deserves it, along with a few others. There is a couple of 'animated' scenes, although the term animated is used loosely in my definition, they do exist, it's not what is commonly known as animated in most of the games on here so that may be why you missed it.

Not to resurrect and beat this horse past expiration, but this was originally a incest implied game. When asked the official response was always in the vein of "the content is not in the game but i'm sure someone not associated with or sanctioned by the project will release a patch" (exaggerated winking and nudging commences)
It seems like that intention/blatancy may have changed through out the Patreon Jihads IDK, been waiting on enough time/content to make a new playthrough feel fresh.
