I finished playing season 1 redux and have gone back to the "old" version to play the rest of the seasons. I entered the latest save code without thinking but was the wrong one since I needed to start at the beginning of season 2, not what I assume is the start of season 4. Now it's not letting me enter a new save code when I click on the save file pre-loaded into the game. Clicking it just starts me at where the previous code I entered starts at. How can I get it to allow me to enter a new save code? Also anyone know the save code for the start of season 2? Or the version number for the start of season 2 so I can look it up?

There IS NO season 2 until Uberpie releases season 2 redux. It never existed before he made it up when naming v0.89.8 "seasons 1-4" in July 2023.
The save and cheat codes work for v0.89.8. the save code starts at the beginning of new content after v0.82.4/v0.85.1 (not necessarily the beginning of wherever will be considered "season 4”).
Redux is the retail version of the first 20% or so of all the Taffy Tales in development content to date plus a few new scenes. If you want to play the old in development content, you'll need to start at day 1 in v0.89.8 and then continue on in v1.07.3

Yeah as long as I don't need to pay I don't give a shit. I do feel bad for his supporters though. Imagine supporting a project for years just for the developer to scrap it and restart the whole process with AI. What a fucking slap in the face. At least I know a milking project when I see one.

Posting here that there is a new post does nothing to speed up that process.

There is no such thing. Taffy Tales writes to the Windows Registry using Unity defaults with player preferences, not a save file.
Use the save code and speed run through the newer content for that version.

Well, that's good, because the save code doesn't unlock that content. There is only netorare content for the first half of v1.07.3 from when it was v0.95.7. There was no further netorate content added for v1.07.3.

So what is th difference between the links on the first page? between the season 1 redux and the season 1-5. Does the redux only has the content of the season 1 link or does it contains all 5 season and is just a missleading title?
Also, where does this gam stores its save files? cuz i could swear i hve played it before yet i have no saves

The definition of Redux is:
As such "Season 1 Redux" would be ONLY what Uberpie calls Season 1, brought back. It is the "finished" retail version for that content. Uberpie is currently working on "Season 2 Redux" for whatever he determines is Season 2 content.

April post - art, heat, and progress!
Hey friends! Just wanted to give you a quick update on how things are going.
Work’s moving along nicely, and the scenes are definitely getting hotter! Right now, I’m fully focused on the art side of things (just like I mentioned in the last post). Almost every scene is being reworked, expanded, or completely redrawn from the ground up – and that’s exactly what I’m diving into at the moment.
At this stage, it’s mostly regular production work. Season 2 is coming together much more easily, since Season 1 already laid the foundation. That means progress should be a lot faster this time. I did have to update a few backgrounds here and there, but that didn’t take too long.
Like I said before, back when we were working on Season 1, most of the time was spent creating backgrounds and character visuals for the dialogues – poses, outfits, expressions, and all that. Now, the focus is almost entirely on CG scenes. And honestly, this is the part I enjoy the most.
We’re working hard, doing our best, and we truly appreciate all the support you’ve given us.
