Maybe my brain is fried from all the AI porn, or maybe my friend has become more particular over the years, but I just don't feel anything playing this... the early versions had such great art, i don't get why they would change it to something more "detailed"

Yeah, the AI art tend to be "to good" even when it copy artists, it kinda "fix their mistakes". It makes to good shadows, often bleak colors, and it uses to much of a standard poses.
And because you seen to much same pictures, it kinda, not interesting anymore.

Not to mention writing had suffered imho.
