All the stuff not season 1 redux is all the draft work.

Do you want to play a version with a lot of content? Go play v0.89.8 "Seasons 1-4" and then v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- these are both the "in development" versions, not "finished" retail.

If you strictly want a netorare playthrough, play the short completely optional and separate netorare route in v1.07.3 "Season 5" <-- this is the "in development" version, not "finished" retail.

Do you want to see 4k images and video with some additional content added of the first 20% or so of the game, all of it in AI generated art? Play Season 1 Redux. <-- this is the "finished" retail version, nothing more will be added to it. Further Season Redux versions will be separate downloads in the future.

Because of itch's rules, Redux has violating content removed. It is unpatched. If you want the content, download the official patch and install it within the Redux. See instructions in the installation spoiler.

(Basically, from what I can tell - its primarily because of Uberpie's inability to figure out saves continuing over different releases AND that the size of the game - in GB - was getting too much and they didn't want to keep adding to the size)

They got kicked off Patreon in March of 2024 (for violating policies regarding content, for years even after having to revamp Family Tales/Taffy Tales in 2018 and saying they would not violate policies further). At that time, they decided it was time to break apart into Seasons to sell as retail versions on Steam. The first - "Season 1 Redux" - was revised, revisited, and revamped the User Interface and other aspects while also using AI for the art modeled upon Uberpie's previous artwork.

Steam did not accept their submission in January of 2025 due to the "gray area" of the school (college) setting with younger looking characters. And so they are now selling "Season 1 Redux" on itch.io. They also recently created a censored version that is for sale on DLsite

No, you're fine.

It's just that the same questions get asked over and over and then get buried by the other questions over and over. And it doesn't help that the developer has the attention span of a goldfish and created this confusing cluster of versioning and naming, etc.

There is supposed to be more optional netorare scenes featuring Mary in Season 2 Redux, whenever it gets completed and released --- most likey months and months from now.

However, I can tell you that was made for Windows users, not Android. So you'll have to play it to see it.

What I think I understood from skimming through the thread: Seasons 1-5 have more content but won't be developed further, while the Redux will be developed further, but doesn't have that much content? So it would be more interesting for me to play 1-5 as long as it goes? Or did I misunderstood that?

If you want to play everything to date then place v0.89.8, then v1.07.3, then you can play Season 1 Redux. The redux being the first fifth of the previous content with about 20% more added, so you will see a lot of content you already saw.... Just in AI generated images in the Redux instead of the original hand drawn.

None of the above will have further content added. Further content will be placed into future Season 2 Redux, Season 3 Redux, and so on. Each redux will be a standalone continuation of previous redux(es). And new content will be added into those future redux releases.
