Those who make the argument that because this is a pirate forum then x have me a little tired.
First you have to know that if it were a pirate they would have already closed it.
A pirate website is one that takes advantage of the work or works of others, especially by copying computer programs or works of literature or music without being legally authorized to do so.
As far as I know, they don't charge you to download something here.
Regardless of this definition (which is the one used in court cases), even most patreon games would be pirated (like those using Honey selects).
That is why they are financed with donations.

for some reason ppl don't seem to know how game development works, just because they say a game was in development for so many years, does not mean the game code was being made, it takes writing, storyboarding, designing, and that could take 1-3 years, than after that they move to actual game development. ppl with this "they had 7 years to develop" makes me cringe

ok but if you mean to say that if before 2016 they spent 1-3 years on all the art, story and writing then doesn't that simply hurt your case more? that's still time being used on production of the game so which is it? and just because it was a few years less than 7 doesn't make the point any less valid. More time doesn't always = better product.

Cyberpunk was like that because of bad direction, or clear lack of one.
There are many factors to why it ended up the way it was, ambitious? shareholders? deadlines? A lot.

For note, Yakuza games come out once every 1-2 years, and they're the most complete games you can have. In fact, someone can correct me on this, Yakuza 7 was supposed to be the same old brawler they were doing until the April Fools video they did was so well received that they turned it into a turn based combat.



And yes, Cyberpunk was NOT in development for 7 years. They simply announced that they were going to be working on it back in 2012 or 2013, they most likely only started actual work on it by 2016 or 2017.

Is a game being delayed not a sign of bad management? If so then would you not call the delay from the promised December release a cause of bad management?

Lately, i've seen alot of games going MIA for significant time, i hope fame and money doesn't get to their heads.

I would assume that for the majority of them, it's Covid related issues that went to their heads.

I guess I am not all that surprised about delays I was hoping my previous prediction would have been in the ball park but oh well. At least Raven is still posting here and I can't wait to see what the next update is all about. Both of my favorite games currently are in delay this one and the other is probably in a loooooooong delay(looking at you FET). Mary will be fun once this drops and looking forward to more of Ravens writing. Frankly there are a ton of games out there that are basically art assets with no plot and and have very basic writing. Yes hot assets are the main focus in porn games but adding in good writing is what makes a game great.

No, but another Korra based game did finish up last year. FET is working on the last segment of the game, but there's "writer's block" involved as they're now three months past the promised release window. Not particularly relevant to Taffy Tales outside of the extremely long time between this update and the last.

I hope they do lock it though. No new information is given until game is released. So they better lock it up so scumbags that think it's cool/funny to spam F go do something "better" with their lives. I truly believe this is better than realeasing the update "in parts" and taking the same 5-6months for the other half part of the same history update...
if this update is for Mary, i want all the scenes of Mary (and extras if possible), not half now and the other half on August!

The first half for Mary has already been done, this is supposed to be the second half, doubt anybody would be complaining if it was taking 5-6 months to do the full update.

Not bad effort but could have been a lot spicier. For now, it's a 5.5/10, maybe 6 if you twist my arm and made me give a generous score. But keep practicing my little pog champ, you'll get there one day. Pro tip, consider some samurai seppuku meme with me plunging the dagger into myself with everyone watching and you might knock it up to a 7.

Starts a teleportation device construction to transport his army to our dimension. Returns back with his own version of the update and slap it into our face. But it has no Danny in it and half of us starts a civil war.

Hmmm.....sounds spicy. And entirely plausible. But how do you know it hasn't already happened, and he's just holding off on smacking us with that update like he's right out of Redo of Healer, until the coomers have reached peak frustration?
