I don't find it odd at all considering the whole point of the game is that it's your character. People may not have written them themselves but your point is moot when the creators give people the option to name the character. I think it's pointless to mock people for relating to a character that may have their name if they did indeed name them and going "hurr hurr its just a game bro why you mad?" some people just want to escape reality for a few moments no matter the medium.
You can make that point for everything and you'll be right people can find anything they want pointless. And I repeat I'm neutral to NTR and just find it entertaining and interesting that people fill pages of the same recycled topic of NTR (that will get repeated again next week) like you said leads to nothing.

Strength wouldn't be relevant in this case since the reason we can't hurt ourselves is our own inhibition. If you broke past this barrier you'd only be as strong as you were before. To test your strength you'd need an external third party to punch you.
