What's going to happen now? The game was going great, then came the Patreon shenanigans, forcing them to tone down the very work everyone loved them for - by a considerable amount. And yet, they still failed to appease Patreon. So, they moved to Steam, took even more time to water it down further (probably to comply with Steam?), and now no one’s sure if the game even honors its roots anymore.

And now, even that failed, as Steam rejected it. So, what's next?

Are they going to spend more time "readjusting the work to reflect the original quality the game had in the first place?" Only time will tell~

Did you read anything in the past couple of pages before posting this?

Where did you get this whole "no one's sure...honor it's roots" thing? No one has made any viable statement like that.

What's next, you ask? They have been on Subscribestar since just days after they were booted off Patreon. And they've been on itch.io for a long time.

How about just wait until the release before worrying about the sky falling.

I wasn’t trying to imply the sky is falling or attack the game - I'm genuinely curious about the next steps since there've been so many changes (Patreon, Steam etc.). When I said "no one's sure," I just meant that, from an outside perspective, it's hard to know how much the final product will resemble the original vision. I wasn't trying to speak for everyone or claim the devs made any statement about this. If things are still on track with SS and itch.io, that's great to hear, I'll just wait for the release like you suggested.

I didn't imply that I thought you were attacking the game. What I said was that I wondered if you bothered to read any of the past couple of pages of the thread because the things you were asking and wondering about and, yes, making it sound like the game was in jeopardy for some reason (not that you were attacking the game) ... All of that had been discussed quite a few times in the recent several pages.

There is no apparent reason why Uberpie should not release "Season 1 Redux" to their $7+ tier subscribers soon.... But, like Thatlostone, I wouldn't be surprised if it takes awhile.

Even when it was listed on Steam as "planned for release on 28 January" - when people on this site kept saying that it would be released on 28 January, I replied that is was "planned" for release.

There is a big difference between the two. And Uberpie's release history has shown that more often than not, what happens does not usually go according to plan.

In the other comments under the posts, he gave a shoutout and thanks to everyone criticizing his work and updates. He mentioned that it makes it easier for him to spot issues he missed and fix them in time.

So yeah, turns out he’s actually grateful to us, lol. Another win for F95

Thanks for posting the screenshots. But I question why you think it is the criticism on this site he is thanking. He doesn't communicate on here (at least, not in 6 years) and he last logged in under his account in August --- so he wouldn't know the accusations that have been tossed around here about people thinking he's withholding it out of spite.

Unless...

One of the people here is Uberpie...

But that's a possible conversation for the Off Topic Taffy Tales thread. Hahahahahah

Edit: BTW I am not saying he should communicate in this thread. I don't care if devs communicate on f95, honestly. And since 90%+ of us are here to steal his game without contributing or paying... It doesn't necessarily benefit a dev who paywalls their game to chat on this site.

Did anyone else catch that smell? Who farted? Seriously, who?

Yeah, steam is weird. Pretty sure have ero games with much younger main characters and more violent themes.

I always had a feeling that when you have a female protag, and make however slim chances of not getting raped and tortured and drugged, censure is ok with it.
they are hella weird, they have games where women fuck half horse men lol borderline beasty shit but this game is too much....

The developer stated they added some content to the first third of the game as part of their rework to create the "Season 1 Redux" that they've been working on since March 2024 and that is planned for release on 28 Jan 2025 (so, planned to be released within the next 42-43 hours).

How was the game going great ? by posting one update a year with bad A.I. art ? Uberscammer lied for years with the so called "Mega" updates than he said he will not take so long anymore and what happen ? it took even more time

so what exactly is the redux changing?
The now gone page of steam stated that there would be some rework of the artwork, some new, never released scenes, some new dialogues and rework of existing ones, to make a better flow of the arguemental plot, and some under the hood rework of the coding for better stability, bug fixes and compatibility issues

Oh, let’s bring this aggressive clown his own butt to his nose and ask him about it. (beep beep)

Oh, look, another cartoonish, bitter, envious clown celebrating the ban of one of the largest and most hardworking projects due to random censorship or complaints from the offended. The usual mantras about "milking" and "lazy" - Dude, considering the size of their team and how much content they’ve churned out over the years, your sorry little bellybutton wouldn’t even survive the workload. The stats and reality prove it.

Zero understanding of AI, digital art, the industry, or anything remotely related. But oh boy, so much bile and hatred - and look, they even know the word “milkers,” lol. Every clown like this crumbles when faced with simple examples of AI work. Let’s give it a shot with you too: show me 18+ art project in the industry that’s better or on the same level as current Uber’s. And I mean fully frames, plots, scenes, complex rich backgrounds , characters, angles, and so on. No pixel filters, no shortcuts. Not just random lora art made with prompts.

Well? Brave, bitter youth? I already know the answer.
How about showing examples of better use cases for partial AI implementation in the industry than what Uber is doing now?
Show examples with more scale - bigger text, more characters, larger 2D art projects used in the industry. (I’m sure they exist, just not many of them.)

Put on your big, colorful shoes already, or you might miss your little circus wagon.

Unlike you some of us actually have lives and dont spend day in and day out scrolling through and posting on dozens of forums for porn games.
Get off your high horse not everyone wants to spend all day scrolling through forums for information on updates for a game.
