Many walkthroughs already exist, type "Taffy Tales" into your search engine, followed by the exact wording of your quest hint and you will likely find it on youtube and mejoress.com. (When I see the many questions for any solutions or clues, I feel like a walkthrough would be helpful to many here.

Ditto, it took me 116 days, but I also forgot Jessica on two different Sundays, so 102 days sounds about right to me...
Related: I will say that the v0.85.1a update ran much smoother than v0.82.4a. It took me about 160 game days in v0.82.4 to complete, but in v0.85.1 it only took me about 110 game days (and if I had timed a few quests better, probably could have done it in 100).
Speaking of... I find it really shitty to monetize the fact you are break savegame compatibility every single updateNo. there is no new save to unlock
This is because the last update only remade the early plot instead of adding new content in the end.
The unlocked saves are for the "new content". that is if you download v0.6 it would have a patreon code to unlock a save that starts out with all the 0.5 content done, so you can immediately get to the new 0.6 content.
Since this time the new content is the start of the game it was deemed redundant by the author.
What the fuck are you talking about, there is no "pay money" option to get to the new content.Speaking of... I find it really shitty to monetize the fact you are break savegame compatibility every single update
every time there is an update you are forced to either pay real money, or replay the entire game from the very beginning because the author decided to make your old saves invalid.
It's not every single update. The were unlockable saves for the previous 5 updates for nearly the past 2 years: v0.68.2, v0.47.5, v0.22.0, v0.17.0, v0.14.3.Speaking of... I find it really shitty to monetize the fact you are break savegame compatibility every single update

... facepalm. What the fuck are you talking about, there is no "pay money" option to get to the new content.
The beginning of the story has been rewritten, all new content starts at "New game"
I am confused. you are clearly stating I am correct and that every single update for the past 2 years did it.it's not every single update. The were unlockable saves for the previous 5 updates for nearly the past 2 years: v0.68.2, v0.47.5, v0.22.0, v0.17.0, v0.14.3.
"I pirated it" is a shit counter argument to what I saidAlso, I haven't spent a penny for the many times I've gone through Taffy Tales.
I was absolutely not agreeing with your premise, but we are talking about 2 separate things, yes. The way Unity is saving the data for players is through the windows registry. The windows registry saves information based upon version ID. When a new version is played, the Windows Registry doesn't recognize it as the same item. Is there a different way a developer could save the data for Unity - yes. Do I think that UberPie is doing it because he's greedy? No. Do I think that UberPie is doing it because he doesn't have the skill to do it another way? Yes.I am confused. you are clearly stating I am correct and that every single update for the past 2 years did it.
But then also saying "it is not every single update"
what gives?
"I pirated it" is a shit counter argument to what I said
it is shitty dev behavior to intentionally break saves every single game update.
And then charge money for a workaround (be provided with a save just before the new content starts)
so you were poorly communicating that you 100% agree with every fact I stated.I was absolutely not agreeing with your premise, but we are talking about 2 separate things, yes. No. The most common reason for pirates to engage in piracy is because they believe the owner of an IP is doing something scummy. Also, it is a valid counter argument because you are arguing it on this site.
I misread what you meant when talking about making saves compatible. Yes.so you were poorly communicating that you 100% agree with every fact I stated.
But disagree with my conclusions that uberPie is doing it on purpose to milk money.
I assert he must be doing it on purpose, because he asking for money for a workaround.
You are asserting he is doing it on accident because he is a bad programmer... and then asking for money for a workaround.
the thing is, even if you were right, there is very little difference between:
A. cause a problem (on purpose) and sell the solution
B. cause a problem (via your own ineptitude) and sell the solution
in both cases they are the one causing the problem in the first place, and also the one selling the solution to the problem they caused.
No. The most common reason for pirates to engage in piracy is because they believe the owner of an IP is doing something scummy.
Your argument is literally that "X is not scummy because we are pirates and get it for free", this is a fundamentally wrong argument
I don't think that Unity is flawed. I have looked at what save alternatives there are for Unity - a simple search on the net will show there are a variety of solutions and complaints about PlayerPrefs by players of some mainstream games. There was some talk about the idea of submitting Taffy Tales for Steam at some point - at which that point the game would have savegame compatibility, as well (for those who play on Steam, that is).is it unity that is flawed-funny i play other games in unity that dont require new play throughs with every version so i can only assume its the devs choice or he/she doesnt know how.as for this being a pirate site-yes it is,its also a launch platform where devs show their talent and many of us go on to support them so they can continue.i love this game but no i wont support it simply because of the save issue, given this game was lauched mar 2018 and it has not been addressed properly is poor at best.![]()
This is PR invented by malicious people to gaslight the gullible."Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity."
Your twisting of the words is not correct. It may be your opinion, but you are wrong. Some variant of "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity" has been in print for over 250 years and made by far more insightful individuals than any we'd find on this thread. This is PR invented by malicious people to gaslight the gullible.
The correct saying is "Never attribute to stupidity that which can adequately be explained by malice."
Even in the rare case where it is pure stupidity rather than malice, you are still dealing with stupidity so extreme that it results in accidental malice. maliciously stupid if you will.
Regardless, in this specific scenario there are two separate steps
step 1: the failure
step 2: selling the solution
The argument on malice vs incompetence only affects step 1.
in either case, step 2 is malicious. Because making someone pay for you to fix your own failures is malicious.

I gotta say I was still half asleep when I skimmed that question, My tired Brain read "Marys Sports outfit" and that is all, I'm kinda curious now which quest was meant.
Backyard is "gym clothes" ... when asking for help, please use the exact wording of the quest because many have very similar words but different actions.now its telling me to go to the gym which I did but, nothings happening.

To help you out, I've numbered your arguments and put my responses in same order so that you can follow along. I don't think you mean any harm by what you are saying but you showing your hand about your world view and how you interact with others.
- I am well aware that it has been in print for hundreds of years.
- I am not "twisting" the words.
- I am explicitly, openly, and upfront stated that the age old idiom is wrong.
- It is an idiom invented by politicians to fool the gullible.
- I was very explicit in my post that "corrected" was referring to "this is correct according to reality" and not "this is what the age old idiom states"
I don't know how I Could possibly make it any more clear
