Count you're the most knowledgeable person in this thread so I thought I would ask you, in the quest where you are blackmailing Harry & you need to get the software and the burner phone, does the game ever actually give you any hints that the software is in your neighbors yard? Or you are just expected to look around until you go there and find it? I can't remember being hinted at going there.

I don't know, however I think that is kind of what others are thinking, as well. Though I do recall Uberpie saying something implying that the MC dressing in Tiffany's clothes (Wilfred?) may occur in the netorare route but not in the main/harem route.

Thais a tough bet to make, Uber will probably rewrite it at least once in that time, maybe 2-3 times... What are we defining abandoned as? This thread will still be here, but will any of us recognize the game?

8 months to a year with no updates is what i would considered abandoned, or said by dev
No bud 18 months is F95 abandoned and even that isn't always truly abandoned, you don't get to shorten that just because you're impatient, particularly on a game that normally only has 1-2 updates per year. the next few updates could easily exceed a year if normal patterns persist (almost all games see the later updates taking longer than the earlier ones. with the last one taking significantly longer than the rest).
This game has always had slow updates, and abandoned means the Dev isn't working on it anymore, There is the rub though, if a Dev rewrites a game is it fair to claim it's abandoned (that version at least).
if a game hasn't been updated in a year it is dead, it no longer a active project F95 gives way too much leeway/charitability to Developers

Uh, no. That's not abandoned (8 months to a year without an update) because this developer already shows long release times (6-7 months for several updates even before splitting the game into two versions) - it would have to be at least 6 months without any communication about updates by developer on their discord or patreon... or the dev states they have abandoned/given up on it. I follow several games with release cycles that are longer than a year, but the developers keep people informed of progress.
Either way, we'll see when we get there.

I mean, if that is your claim - could we use the same to wonder if you would be Stil996 at the same moment (2023 Apr 6?) because at that time over 7 years will have passed since you created your account here. The cells in every human are completely replaced every 7 to 10 years - ergo, can you still claim to be Stil996?
No man, It's my theory that Uber has spent way to much time rewriting this game, feels like some type of rewrite happens every 2nd-3rd update (maybe hyperbole but thats what it feels like to me), that if he had just made the game he originally envisioned it would already be finished and be onto the sequel by now.
Every Update I'm waiting with baited breath the see what he's changed now, this dual Game bullshit is just the latest incarnation, then will come the trio games to account for the Bro route, then it'll get merged again when they realise how stupid the split was to begin with, then there will be another half dozen rewrites to fix all the deviations caused by two different writers.
PS I am never the same Stil996, I die every day and am reborn every morning... except when I get drunk, then the cycle just speeds up
for no track record western porn games the abandonment rate is much higher, if go to the abandoned section most of them are first time western developer,
a lot of devs can talk, until they produce results its vaporware but we will see in 2 years

It's still only 34% for all and if we do a similar extrapolation it may be closer to 50% for games listed up to 1 Mar 2018 (because the filtering function in the forums section does not allow the selection of "japanese games" like the latest updates do).
So I'm still even odds or 2:1 in my favor.
I could take some valuable time and chart the abandonment based upon time in development (e.g. rate of abandonment in each year of development to show when the peak is and therefore better calculate odds). However, since he has already been developing for 5 years, I think he has a pretty good track record in endurance to this point. But I agree that we will see in two years.

As for the rewriting part it sounds like you have never tried writing before.
If someone tells you they wrote a whole book or a game in one go they are LIARS it's a part of the process like when you first tried to learn maths or other subjects.
You try things make errors, try to learn from them & sometimes you have to restart from scratch.
BUT there is one thing different with writing you have to quit writing from time to time to have a fresh look on what you wrote.
Only then you are able to spot story errors,cheesy stuff and other things.
We don't have the full picture only UberPie has it so we can't judge.
unlike other devs who are able to make the game even worse than before removing a handful of content like these games: The secret Reloaded or Unlimited Pleasure.
iooooodr as for the waiting you did not take in account the habits,(which is a waiting of several months before an update) of the dev as well as the proof of life of the dev.
more like 50/50 odds and a five year development time is not a good thing
