The steam game linked in post doesn't seem to match this game at all. DLsite isnt showing anything for me either. Am I missing something? Where can I buy the game or is this just the trial build since this game isnt even close to completion yet?
The steam link is to the dev's previous game. This one hasn't been announced on any store pages yet (afaik) and is still in development.
On DLSite, a lot of products are hidden if connecting from outside Japan - probably something to do with western payment processors being cunts. If you have a VPN, try setting it to JP and you should see them.

Welp, dev made a post after going inactive for 6 months, he stopped working on it because too many people were shit talking his game and he lost confidence.
I think his game is looking great and I hope he continues to work on it but we will see.

Huh? What is wrong with this new game he is making? In my opinion, its better than his previous, turn based games and its somewhat more interactive. People are giving him shit for it? People are crazy. I hope he keeps making it.

I think if i would "shit talk" about the game it would be that barely enemies rape the MC, but that's about it, everything else felt fun

Out of curiosity I combed through this thread and the thread for the steam release of TAIMA MIKO and neither of them are too negative. Most of it is just people saying "waaah there's not enough penetration or sex and I didn't go past the first level" like come on, this game isn't finished and some artists just don't focus on that sort of thing. Steam has some negative reviews due to bugs, and for this game some people are having control issues which just tends to happen with unity sometimes.
People on ULMF are generally saying the same thing, that most of the feedback to this action game is great. We all want to see what happens next.

Really? Shit-talking this game? Smutty subject matter aside, which could be easily rectified by just focusing on adding more "mainstream" stuff, this game is pretty well-built just as a straight-up game. I can't imagine anyone here really talking smack about it on that front. I guess it's someone from the Japanese side who's doing it for some reason. I hear Japanese netizens' criticism can be pretty ruthless.

That's my impression as well, there were complaints about the H content but the quality of the game was solid and no one had issues with that, but we are communities about H games so we going to talk about the H content more than gameplay which I think is why the dev has got the impression no one likes his game which is not true.
I'm guessing he took the comments about the H content very seriously because he is conscious of how much longer it's taking him to develop the game vs his older RPG maker game where he was able to get H content out much sooner.
Honestly, he should not worry about the complaints, he is not the first dev to transition from rpgmaker to unity games and their games turned out super successful look at hakkaku for example. I think he was going in a good direction with gameplay and the H-content, if he sticks with it and keeps going even if it takes a few more years, it will be a massive success on release.

I think it's just poor mental health magnifying what are probably minority voices. Everywhere I've seen the game mentioned, from reddit to the few Japanese communities I follow seem to have spoken positively about the game, and he has a good rep as a lot of people like his previous games. Heck, Kagura supposedly approached him to port his game, not the other way around.
So I'm not sure who these "people" even are or where he's hearing this. Worse slop goes on to be highly successful while looking 1/10th as good, and though it's definitely early aside from lack of content I don't see any glaring flaws.
