its like they never heard of a false positive before heck i used to have that problem with a steam game called digimon new world 2 it would always quarantine a part of it making it unplayable unless i turned off my antivirus for a few minutes then launching the game and id be fine even when it turned on atleast till the next time i wanted to play it
Note to user, never totally turn antivirus off, its a bad idea. From learned user, make this:
- Use a virtual machine to run.

- Create a partition or use a different hard drive(believe me, anything other than C as the directory already wipes far too many shit from the internet from being able to mess with ur system as u keep those on C normally.
- Create a proper game folder.
- Add that folder as exeption to windows defender/antivirus, u can do this.
- Download direct on that folder saving and extracting there so ur cracks and altered exes can be protected from the bad anti piracy system of those guys(or just make false positive works without turning off antivirus.
Also a personal advice from how the internet changed, make sure to tweak ur browser auto download setting to off making it always ask for a "path/directory" before saving the files, this can protect u from the virus hidden on ads that abuse auto download because user was too lazy or didn't understand that only clicking on links may download some shit with user being unaware, only guys who were hit by those know how it sucks when pc gets turned into mining machine out of nowhere cause a instant ad window popped up outside of ur countrol, also use adblock, its ur right lols, ignore all companies saying they require the revenue, ur own security matters more lol.
When shit is dangerous for real? When u download the file into the exeption folder "but" after extracting and running the exe it tries to create files outside the one u marked as exeption, this action is common sometimes however it can be dangerous depending on what u're messing with, if none the wiser and exe had this behaviour, hunt the file created outside the folder u choose to house ur pet viruses instantly lols.
