Uh, I have not? I have paraphrased " the quality or state of being neither specifically feminine or masculine ". In the example you gaven the bearded lady, to me she has a head of a man on a body of a woman, I clearly can't tell if she's a woman or a man. Like I said, in first glance, I am not able to confidently tell the sex of an androgyny. Are you saying my paraphrasing is wrong?

I have not imposed any features though? Or even how many features can one have to be considered androgyny. I only remarked in ToA, you make use of only 2 male features in your characters (Hiro, Trudy, Dark Knight, Alma ..........) : the cock and the balls. I'm pointing out the lack of diversity of male features. Every characters you made predominantly use feminine features, big ass, wide hips, roundish face, no hair such as facial hair or hair on arms and so on.

But like I said I'm satisfied with the state of the game, it's not my intention to offend if you feel so.
Holy shit dude. We're here literally trying to tell you that this word has multiple definitions and you're only using one of them, rendering literally everything you type afterwards a waste of time. If you're gonna "well, akshually..." at least be right.

You are cherry picking - here's a screenshot from your link:

The first definition says having the characteristics or nature of both male and female - which the characters in this game has.
The first part of the second definition - which is the classic perception of the "David Bowie/Tilda Swinton" type androgynous, with no appearance of gender taking precedence.
Finally, the third - it could have nothing to do with appearance but more having to do with reversal of the expectations of the binary [sic].

It can be a 'bearded lady' and it can be a shapely man with what society deems as 'feminine' physical features and has a phallus with testes who is impregnated by egg depositing mates. In the end, androgynous can be any varying level in between, outside of, or in reverse [sic].

Actually I used the definition of "androgyny" just like title of the game, not the adjective "androgynous". But yes, looking back I was too hanged up on the first definition.

Indeed there's a spectrum of female features to male features. What I was pointing how is ToA is using a fairly small sample of that spectrum (which isn't an issue on itself mind you) despite being called "Tale of Androgyny". A name like that will give you expectation of various androgynous characters, but it's not really what you get in the end. There are varied race; vampire, slime, human, demon and so on and so forth; but their sexual features are remarkably similar. You can put them in these categories (physical features only to be clear) :

1) Normal, shapely (big boobs, wide hips, big ass) feminine (soft skin, rounded face ....) woman (Brothel Madame, Elf woman, one of the vampire sister I forgot the name, Mermaid)
2) Shapely (wide hips, big ass, non existent or small bump of boobs), feminine boy/men (Hiro, Kylira, Trudy)
3) Shapely feminine woman with dick and balls (everyone else)

Few exceptions are actual men in one Hiro gangbang scene, brothel Kylira fucked by a man, and if you turn off futanari you have a manly innkeeper and the ogre. But every other characters are largely shapely and feminine. Male features are underrepresented while female features are overrepresented. Take Minotauress, she could have been a text book Jojo characters, a mountain muscle, even her boobs could have been more muscle then boobs, broad shoulders, arms and legs veiny and muscled, instead she has "just" 4 packs, cock & balls and every thing else about her is feminine (and you can argue those packs aren't male only feature anyway).

It's one point that I feel ToA can be critiqued over, that androgyny is not quite exploited to the full extent. Not that ToA need to, like I said, ToA is fine the way it is now.

Hayo, new weekly!

This time, we've got the new Goblin Kiss POV art, as well as some new music tracks, and we're still building out the encounter graph editor that has already proved useful while working on Winnie the Angel stuff, which'll be making it into the game next weekly, along with the Dryad animation. We've got a bunch of fun stuff lined up for this month, and we hope we can get to it all.

As always, changelog is below, and convenience download links below that. Support Majalis on !

It IS a range of androgynous characters and situations, just not a range of aesthetically androgynous characters. Hiro, Trudy, and Kylira are male but look and/or act feminine (Trudy angrily wields a battle axe!). Several characters are women who have (noticeable) penises. The Mermaid engages in sea-horse impregnation, a real-life case of androgynous behavior, and for that matter, anytime a female character penetrates a male character, and particularly the ones that impregnate him (with eggs, no less), it's also androgynous behavior.

Incidentally there's more male content coming down the pike, but I don't comment on that much because it has the tendency to foment discord.

if ppl debated about world problems in politics as fiercely as ppl do here about imaginary porn stuff we would have flying cars by now and not crippling depression and shitty weed in the streets
Jesus christ, flying cars would be absolutely horrible and they would consume way more energy than normal cars.
I mean you do know how reckless and stupid the common driver can be right? Now imagine if everyone of those would have their flying torpedo, it would be a disaster.
Road accidents are already bad enough, now think what would happen if one of those came hurdling down into the ground, "road" accidents would be even worse because of the amount of force that those things would come down with, multiply the casualties and property damage of normal road accidents by a factor of 100 and you'd start to get the picture why i'm glad flying cars wont be a thing for atleast few hundred years, if ever.

And the amount of energy to hover few tons of steel or whatever they would be constructed would be astronomical, there's more energy efficient and most of all safer alternatives to flying cars.

But yeah, the world would be a better place otherwise if we if we as a species had the zeal and fervor of the average degenerate neckbeard crying in the internet to actually focus on the advancement of human race, currently we're more interested on fighting about imaginary lines on paper or who's right about which god is actually the real one, it's kinda sad that about 90% of the people in the world still have the wrong answer to that question.

Top notch polemic. 11/10. Would nod and agree again.

Even a colloquial definition of "androgeny" which typically refers to a degree of uncertainty with regard to gender (ie. someone's "androgenous" if you can't tell from looking at them whether they're a man or woman) fits this game.
This is a fantasy world where every character with a face looks feminine in our world and nearly all of them have some sort of phallic reproductive organ visually indistinguishable from a dick. But in this world that's totally normal and "male" or "female" are applied somewhat arbitrarily.
You don't know what their gender is by looking at them, even in naked form, so they're all about as androgenous as can be.

That's all I have to say on this stupid topic unless someone explicitly responds to me to say something stupid.

At least it has some level of entertainment watching people squirm for the dumbest reasons. Kind of makes me feel smarter than I really am, so these "arguments" have some use.

I think I'll be reopening a can of worms that's already infested looking at what the thread search results showed me but here I go:

Is the sexual content forced, or is it driven by informed player choices? As in, no unavoidable scenes/routes? I want to outright ignore the talk about androgyny, gender and anything that drives some -frankly unpleasing- fanaticism about everyone's kinks, and instead focus on chasing content that looks appealing to me and avoid what I don't like. Is this how the game plays?

I happen to like true futa (japanese definition) but not gay content. Sadly, the description doesn't inform me whatsoever on how the game plays. I also think this is the underlying question behind a lot of comments that I skimmed over on the thread.

Thanks a lot.

there are some situations which surprise you with sex in this game. this may happen a lot if you are unprepared.

there are very few true futa (as in, with penis, vagina, anus, breasts) most of which are either newhalf (penis, balls, anus, breasts) or otokonoko. typical males and females are few and far between.

the game involves stance-based combat, which allows for different actions based on the current stance. most fights start you in 'balanced' stance, which has a lot of options for attack or defense. for example, in this stance, you can use 'Spring Attack', which deals good damage to the MID part of the enemy and puts you in Offensive stance. from there you have, depending on the skills you have, very few defensive options with a plethora of damaging moves. it's not as complicated as it sounds, and there are also sexual stances that you can take yourself, or be forced into depending on current circumstance during the fight.
