When pressing P for preload during startup, does anyone else get the "Couldn't load dependencies of asset: ui/inventory/itemIcons/Tiara of Control.png" critical failure?
EDIT: Disregard this. Seems like the downloads in the OP are still for V0.2.27.5

Try openj9 it's like twice more effective than the usual hotspot (don't choose "large heap" download)

Are you on the most recent version (v3.00.1)? I had that error when preloading before v3.00.0 and it appears to be fixed now.

So i downloaded last version today but in game and changelog file it says version 0.2.27.4, whats that about? It supposed to be version 0.3, isnt it? Or am i missing something? Downloaded win64 version from nopy.

Not really means much i play last version and there a lot changes in menus i think only he forgot update text in it.
Maybe the uploader put the wrong exe in it that can be too btw when i start game it says Ver. 0.2.27.5!
And i download it too from nopy.
I try other downloader now mixdrop buts slow -.- only got 1mbits from that server on nopy max speed 7 mbits!
Update:
You can fix it with replace the Java only file from downloads put it in game folder then it is start with Version 3.00.1 and fix the problems thanks to Jorja. :)

Well, i have a new inventory and UIs so you probably right, just wanted to make sure that im not the only one with mixed up version.

Just download the JAR from the link that was provided for us here and then replace the old JAR with it. Launch the game with the .exe and problem solved.

Also, be sure to just download the JAR it is version 3.00.1 and ignore the 32/64 versions from the mega folder as they are the 2.27.5 versions. You can keep doing this going forward so you don't have to wait for someone to update the Win 32/64 versions.

The mod has also been updated to 3.00.1 if anyone is interested in checking it out.

The game-breaking bugs I've encountered earlier appear to be fixed, nice!

One thing... wouldn't it make sense to replace the "camp" action with "return to town" action when the MC is standing on the Fort square (as when he is standing on the Human Town and Monster Town squares)? Maybe the same thing for the Witch's cottage and the Gadgeteer's shop?
