Last things, first - if you read the install guide then you know there is no difference between the Java version and the Windows version... The Windows version contains the Java version, as well as the required files for the Java file to run on your PC without needing to download anything else.
You said you extracted the "zip files." You ONLY have ONE zip file - the Windows zip file. If you have more, you're doing something wrong. This is the monthly version - you need nothing else, it is the most up-to-date version of the game. If you then, subsequently, in the coming weeks, want to update the game each week and each month from this point forward, all you need is the Java file to replace the Java file in your folders.
In regards to your claim that the date of the extraction always showed up as the creation date in files you have unzipped before ... no. That is not true. The file creation and modification dates do not change to reflect the extraction date simply from unzipping. The access date does, however, take on the current date.
As for your concerns about the dates of the files inside the zip.
- The JAR (Java) is the only one you have to make sure is correct (which, it is)
- The JSON tells the EXE file where to find things, etc and has no need for an update since May of last year
- The EXE runs the JAR file and, again, doesn't need updated often
- As for the folder, when it is extracted from the zip - it's probably a setting in the developer's java export settings that doesn't get updated, either

This is one of those rare games where the dev team continues to deliver regularly. Updates vary in size, but has there ever been a time where a release wasn't done for months on end? Kudos to the developer!

Not that I remember. There were times where the weekly updates were very small, cause of IRL problems or because they wrote a bigger update and couldn't finish it in time. But I don't remember a weekly that was missed.
It feels like efforts like this really need commended. There are some games that go months on end without update and the explanation is that they need a tech update or system-wide revision. It really is something to continue to produce results for years on end.
Is this game hosted anywhere online, like on Gamcore.com or Lewdspot.com? I tried downloading and couldn’t get it to work.
I do not want advice on how to fix that download problem, just if it is hosted.

Do you mean to (a) play it through your browser window or (b) download from somewhere else?
For (a) - I don't think so.
For (b) - You could have Googled that to find your answer or search for it at alternative sites similar to F95 - hell you could have even gone to the developer's website to download the free version directly (without the patreon content you'd find here), you didn't need to ask us. However, that won't solve your problem. The problem is either you or your computer.
I was asking for a hosted game playable on browser, I looked through a bunch of them and didn’t find this game. Oh well, maybe it will show up eventually.
I think you're mistaking this game with HTML games. The probability somebody could port it to play online is about the same as with playing GTA 3 through you browser, or something.
There shouldn't be a problem with installing the game to PC. The installation process is as simple as it gets. You get one file to your computer, you download another one, you click the .exe, and it starts. I think you can solve the issues if you have them.
And I don’t have a pc, I have a Mac. And I followed many different instructions, but at this point it’s not really worth it to me for all the trouble for a porn game.

FYI, that doesn't make a difference here. Just run the app instead of the exe.

I get wanting it to get a big story update but it gets updated with some new content almost every month, and I would not say that the other mode is a sandbox its more like a rogue-lite IMO, And I find it fun af to try and do it in ironman mode.
