No not really, More in the sense of interesting gameplay and really unique and exciting content. The preview that we have of the games on the main page is quite limited so I have a little difficulty getting an idea of what the content would really look like further down and if it is interesting. because even if the concept seems very interesting the little that we see on the main page attracts me just a little
Definity a lot of text, though the writing is unusually good; arguably exceptional.

I also recommend giving it a try, but play adventure mode, cause story mode feels very unfinished and getting a defeat there means game over, In adventure mode game overs usually require more defeats to the same character or to a "boss" type character, And don't let the combat overwhelm you its simpler than it looks. Reading text is definitely a huge part of it but it's also a fantastic part of it. TOA honestly has some of the best writing I've seen in (such) a lewd game too, ever. And of course the artwork is also generally great, further enhancing the overall atmosphere...
But it's the sublime use of language here that seems to grab the attention of many fans.

Okay thank you for your comments, however the problem is that English is not my native language. I have improved enormously in recent years and can now understand most of what is said in the games I play. however it is always a big mental effort to translate all this especially if it is complex with a lot of text

No. Dude is poor and clearly new at this whole hero thing. I always assumed he just got what was left over from the numerous defeated adventurers.

Isn't the clothes he wears his mothers hand me downs from the time she was an adventurer? Im pretty sure it mentioned something like that.
This is told to us in like one of the first few story mode scenes which is unfortunate cuz means there are a BUNCH of people that that haven't even touched that mode huh?

Story mode is not the same as adventure mode. The other classes don't wear those clothes, but instead other lewd outfits.
That's a different canon from story. In adventure mode, only the most manly of men can wear masculine clothes.Inspiration from his mother being a hero who defeated moon lord or the evil I don't remember his name
Or maybe for bringing luck
Still...the hero who was confronting the quetzela was a boy and was wearing crossdressing maybe it's a dress code for heros in their world or a sign of the "Chosen one" being unique

They haven't had the epiphany yet.
He does wear his hair like she does, but it's mentioned she was a warrior. I like to imagine she was a serious plain hero that just had her hair like that because Meri liked it like that, so she decided to wear it like that. Hiro's mom in full plate, heading off to fight the moon lord
'defeated', i.e. she probably cowboy'd that poor moon lord and became the Demon Matriarch

Hayu! New weekly!
We've got some tasty new sausages in this one - namely belonging to the likes of the Harpies, the Ghost, the Cultist, the Dark Knight, the Wasp, the Minotauress, and... the Quetzal. Hoo boy. We've also got a nice little silhouette of the Quetzal doing her thing to the other adventurer...
Along with that, we've got the new Alma Ass-Eating scenes, including expansions of the old ones. Girl likes to be serviced, front and back! We didn't have time to finish it, but we were also working on new stuff for the Quetzal Goddess, who can now show off her massive specimen... the largest in the game that can fit in Hiro, in fact!
Next up we've got the the new character from the survey! We'll also be working on the companion/food finalizations.
