CHR, PER, AGI are good for the text encounters, with MAG, STR and END being used for some skill checks

AGI, STR, END & AGI are good for combat.

You won't see all of the content in a single character, I'd suggest trying out a balanced stat build first!
Nope. You can easily do that. Just get all the bonus points and create an OP character

You can only get the bonus points after playing long enough, I was basing my post on the assumption that the poster was new to the game.

It is true though, getting the Achievement Bonus Points allows you more access to content overall.

Well, not necessarily more points mean more content...

Personally, I go with high charisma first (8 will do), since several options have the highest stat requirements as CHA (8 max I think). That solves a lot of problems as well unlocking content.
Then I invest in Magic (at least 5) since I think 5 is the highest requirement (might be higher now with new content). Again, it solves a LOT of things (Alma content, Golem, etc) content-wise.
AGI/END goes next, there's plenty of checks, and content is decided by passing or failing.
I don't think I ever had more than 2-3 strength.
You can complete the first map without even buying stat points... as long you're "willing", if you know what I mean *overexaggerated wink*

That being said, there's content you won't unlock unless you start over.
Aside of Bad Ends (which technically cut your game), some content gets locked when unlocking other. The best example is the Unicorn and the Golden Pig. If you choose one, the other gets locked (since requirement is virginity).
Becoming impotent also locked content (but I think now it doesn't).
Max strength (or 8-9) is (or used to be) insta-game-over with the Werebitch, meaning you can't access some of her content, as well the Gadgeteer in similar ways.
Getting certain... features? what are they called? Like anal lover, or cuckoo for birds, will lock you out too.

Stat points sure help on certain situations (the Spider cave -which I avoid like the plague... yuck- for example requires lots of stat checks to pass thru, and most fails are bad ends), but is the decisions that count.
For that you need to choose one or the other, with one locking the other or viceversa.

Basically:
you need to do several runs (maybe 2-3) to see everything.
Or just go for the stuff you're really interested (I haven't seen some content at all, because there's stuff i'm not interested, not even by curiosity), which is much faster and can be done in 1-2 runs.

Uh, isn't the Innkeeper a tomboy?

Also, I find the Wasp also quite tomboyish, despite not being overly masculine, she's aggressive and doesn't has any type of feminine behaviour.

And personally, I think that Urka falls on the same boat, tho others might argue.
The innkeeper's a man lol

Probably the only 'named' one in the game

The wasp does kinda fit but the wasp is really underwritten to the point where I didn't even remember her. Urka, though - she's the domineering futa. The best example of them to be sure, but domineering and boyish aren't the same vibe. Much more of a femme fatale.

Do you have Futa+ disabled?
Brigand and Urka? A+.

Head to the Town of Monsters and Recruit the Dark Magician, then ask her at Camp to have you be trained. You can also request that she make you impotent if she defeats you or you surrender to her. To do this, request that she makes you 'a girl'.

I don't know if it's a bug or intentional but I have the futa option enabled and still every goblin I meet on the road is male. The only female goblin is the one that visits the camp (Selkie), but I rarely find them as an enemy encounter (if ever).

Futa+ does not remove male characters from the game, it affects the Ogre & Innkeeper.

You'll be able to identify the gender of the goblin encounter with a high enough scout, so you can avoid the Male Goblins.

The two goblin encounters tend to spawn near each other, so check the adjacent spaces.

Most noob-friendly build ever, if yours is noobier post below
lvl 1 ironman achievement friendly? yes!
can be done on fresh save? yes!

pick paladin
take off stat from endurance and put into agi, per and magic.
*pick orc blood for even more noob (not required)
skills pick armor crusher and second wind
perks pick surveyor and sunderer and a (point in per i think for scouting)

game start
go to brothel madam and get your 100 gold
buy reinforced shield from blacksmith
scout to lvl 3 if required
fight minimally and avoid goblin (female), ghosts (unless you've taken combat fire) and spider lady
go to monsters and buy the shoes of running and helm of wisdom
go to futa giantess (top left of map), get gauntlets of strength
go to spider lady and get gladius +2
you can fight almost everyone now
get lvl 1 hero achievement
lvl up and become op
ggez

Pretty much this, also if you want soul crystals (you can upgrade weapons and get spells with them) by passing the magic stat check and then asking for help (not the slut help) and you'll get 2 SC's per encounter and focus energy ability, which lets you regain mana during combat.

Not with futa+ option.
(look below)

Yeah, I find the Wasp boring too, barely paid attention, but it does "kinda" fit a tomboy attitude.
Of course, I don't have a fetish for insects, so I don't find her attractive...

Urka... well, I said "personally" and "others can argue".
I love the character, but I don't see any feminine behaviour. Aside of the super hot body (absolutely subjetive if it's feminine or not, since it depends on tastes), I don't see how skulls, spikes and chains could be feminine without a feminine attitude.
And she makes clear she's not going to be the "girl" on the "relationship" (to the point of dressing you and call you as a girl on bad ends).
She can't be called boyish, but it's less feminine than boyish.

The Gadgeteer falls on the same line.
Maybe a bit more, since it fits certain stereotypes (yeah, short hair, and boyish clothes), as well as treating you as "the girl".

(now I kinda like the idea of a character called Tom, which is actually a boy, and it's pissed off because people thinks he's a girl trying to pass as a boy)

I'm sooo tempted to start the discussion of "a girl with a penis or a boy with boobs" just for trollin' sakes :p

Odd.
I generally avoid the male Goblins, and after having a couple encounters with Selkie, males become rarer and Selkie easier (to the point to having her on 3-4 different nodes at the same time).
Maybe the code adjusts the spawning depending the amount of encounters?

(in any case, the male gobbos look exactly the same, with different colours. Interactions are different, but if it botheres that they're called "guys" you could edit the describing text and change any mention of males for girls *shrug*)

Hey does anyone know how to make this game work for Mac? I'm on Catalina if that makes a difference since that has made a difference with games in the past.
I fixed the issue of making the talesofadrogyny file in the MacOS directory executable with chmod -x which was a common issue with games compressed using .rar, however the app still doesn't actually work and instantly closes when I try to start it.

Any help would be appreciated
