two things:

1) i see the question was answered, but i said, why not have it stickied in the OP? some of you say it won't work. why is that? surely a sticky in the OP would be noticeable enough even for the most clueless of members.

2) i haven't read every single page on this thread, but from past experiences i can tell you, not all questions are answered, and that might inflluence why certain questions might be asked so often.
a long time ago, i suddenly had a problem. for some reason, after a certain update i have been unable to save my games. i asked more than once on this thread, and to this day, on the latest version, i am still unable to save. one would have two options here: keep asking the question, or forget about it. i have already asked more than once, and have reason to do so again, but i just gave up by this point. others however might keep on asking, and i don't blame them

1): I dunno so i'm just going to say "REASONS!"
2): I'm just going to go out on a limb here and ask, did you notice the "Overwrite save file#?" button that appears in the bottom center of the save menu when you press a save button? This doesn't happen on a quicksave, but on the save slots.

i assure you it was not because of me being dumb. one day after moving to a new version i was simply unable to overwrite saves. i could load my saves from the previous version but not overwrite them. windows player here, i switched to the java version, same problem. went thru several game updates, still nothing.
how funny, now that i brought this up again, i realized there's a new version again, just tried it and i can save again. and so, as suddenly and inexplicably as my problem appeared, it disappeared

Hi fellow gamers,

I seem to have a problem on my hand. You see i am very horny, but i dont want to watch porn as it isnt for me, a gamer. When i saw this game in the pages i knew that this was a game for a elite gamer like myself. I played this game for like 3 minutes but there wasnt any sex and my balls so are blue. Can one of you fellow gamers send me a save with everything done on it? I cant wait even a second longer as my balls look like Dr Manhattan's. Then that is probably the problem. As I mentioned before, after upgrading to Mojave, I couldn't launch the jar with the desktoplauncher anymore (it worked fine under High Sierra). I fixed this by first removing everything Java and Oracle related. This was a bit of a hassle, as the components can be found in several subfolders of /Library and ~/Library, so Spotlight was next to useless as usual. Instead I used Easyfind, made by Devon technologies. Highly recommended. Then I installed the Zulu java 8 build of OpenJDK (made by Azul). Now the jar opens fine for me.

So i removed the oracle java and installed zulu by aul but i still cant launch it. did i happpe n to miss a step?

Can't tell. First, check the java version. Type in Terminal: 'java -version'. What does Terminal return ?
What happens if you double click the jar file ?

if you have downlaoded windows version before, just download the java ver and swap the .jar files (remember to rename too)

Look in the first post on this thread and obtain the file from the Download > Java options
The file you need to replace is "TalesOfAndrogyny.jar" in the same folder as "TalesOfAndrogyny.exe"
The downloaded file may need renaming to "TalesOfAndrogyny.jar"
