hey whenever i download it and try to open it, it doesn't do anything at all. It refuses to open on any version I download any idea what may be the problem?

I have a mac same problem. I open it up and nothing happens. I installed the latest java from the oracle website. Not sure if there's any error logs or something I can look at.

Discovered the jar file inside the .app file. Just used the .jar directly without trying to use it in the mac wrapper. Works fine in that case.

It really doenst matter if java, C# with Unity Framework or RenPy. It just depends on how you code it. Its just that many game makers are not primarily coders so the the end result is not that good.
Renpy is just very good because its a framework dedicated for VNs.
