You can reset it by either deleting profile.json or editing the enemyKnowledge, events and animatedCgSeen sections of it if you want to retain your achievements and unlocked clothes.
The fastest and easiest way to find your profile.json is the ingame save menu, upper right corner of it has a button that will take you to the appdata folder of ToA.

You can try to fight her but that 6k damage she puts out while you do not even tickle her really should put it into perspective that you cannot beat her in a fight.
You have to pass skill checks.

Your scouting level must be too low for you to pass it, you can increase it temporarily by clicking on the "eye" icon so it's at or above 3 to pass:
And then you need to pick "Observe from distance" to pass through the encounter.

Turn of the experimental smart ai in settings its not in a playable state yet except for testing
