I am aware of that term, however it just sounds stupid to me. I don't understand how dickgirl is derogatory as it is legitimately what they are. A girl with a dick.

I also don't remember seeing it as such before. As far as i know "shemale" is the one that can be considered derogatory.

I have never heard this as a derogatory term. I have been writing futa for over 10 years, been a mod at Futanari Palace for 7 years and an admin for over a year. If certain groups of people want to consider it derogatory for whatever reason, fine, but for over a decade, this is a first for me.

I've been told it's due to it being derogatory to other groups, similar to how using random slurs towards others can still cause discomfort due to association of the malice behind the word's origin.

I have personally handled bigots before and dealt with them accordingly. At the same time, I have also seen people come in over the years and start flame wars because their personal definitions and terms of the fetish were not enforced. That is the challenge: sorting out legitimately bigoted terminology from current terms that are being interpreted by individuals as derogatory. On a personal note, I have known several trans people who do not have a problem with the term. So, from my own experiences, yes, I can say this is the first time I have ever heard of the term being considered by anyone as derogatory. At the same time, I am not going to say my own personal experiences are the end-all, be-all either. Were I trans*, the only thing I would hate to be called is "late for dinner." XD

Knowing different folks can lead to different perspectives, some have a more negative experience with the term typically due to a catch-all use.
But yeah, typically it's the less hassle choice to just say 'futa' to describe fictional non-transitioned charas like the ones in ToA and just assume balls and vag are like weapon attachments

I also edited the message because i remembered that it has actually been a while since i've given out actual information concerning how to update the game or how to access your savefiles, then again i did make a small quide on how to edit your save files regarding selkie and in that i tell where the savefiles are located (atleast in windows).

I use futa at times, but sometimes I do mean a girl with balls specifically and futa doesn't cut it according to some, so I will just keep using it where appropriate. However, considering people keep finding new things to be offended by, and in an attempt to stop any potential wars over the subject, I will just state here that it is not being used to disrespect someone.

1) Boobs and penis (east vs west definitions)
2) Boobs and penis and vagina (east vs west definitions)
3) other which I'm not interested in

So kinda wondering if there's a tag for "hermaphrodite" when I search for that particular subset of games....
