Hopefully the next build will bring in more support so we can hire additional devs. We're only limited by how much free time we have on our hands after taking care of regular work and other IRL stuff. Art is the biggest bottleneck right now, despite having 2 artists on the team.
Yes, most lewd scenes will give you the option between MALEDOM / ROMANCE / FEMDOM, so you can pick whatever you want... and you'll get +1 to the invisible counter which tracks that specific variable. But there are also more focused scenes that offer only a single option, though they're much rarer (like for example a foot massage scene with Meredith, which is strictly femdom).

But yes, we'll continually update the art pack, just like the game. Build#2 (the upcoming release) will add around 60 lewds to the art pack (colors + line art), and these will be in 4k resolution. All new NPC portraits will be in there as well. And you'll have free updates to every new release as long as you don't lose your Itch.io account, both for the art pack and the game itself. So consider it an early-access purchase that will grow with time.

I cannae believe i'm asking this but, will there be an option to turn futa/trans characters off?
I reccomended this game to ma pal, but gave him the heads up there will a couple of futa characters that you can avoid sex with, and he asked if there would be an option to turn futa content off.
Though he did also ask if there was female varients for the futa characters if that choice is a possibilty
Kind of? Though indirectly... If they're NPCs, then just don't engage in sex scenes with them. And if they're followers (like the green she-orc) then don't recruit them... or recruit them to help you with combat and to see their story/quest/dialogue, but don't romance them. The game will never force them -- or their kinks -- on you.

Lmao, at first I read that as "I recommended this game to my pa," as in, 'father'!
But anyway... no futa/dickgirl will flash her junk at you, you have to actively want to engage in that content for it to come up! Just like the sex scene with Meredith in the intro - you're asked if you want to see it, or skip it... and then you're asked for confirmation again every so often if you'd like to continue or exit. We really want to let everyone enjoy the story and characters without forcing their sexuality down your throat, either metaphorically or literally.
I personally think it's bad writing to reduce a character to their sex content, there should be at least a bit of nuance to them so that you, as the player, have an impetus to engage them in conversations even if you dislike them physically or as a person. This isn't some trick to get your to fuck futas if you don't want to, it's just me trying to write good characters that will (hopefully) be able to offer more than just their lewd bits. Sure the game has porn in it, but we'd like it to be a good RPG first and foremost.
Nope, sorry. It would require re-painting their assets, and since everything is 2D that means re-doing it all by hand. We can't just toggle a checkbox that says 'PENIS ON/OFF' like in 3D games. But as I already mentioned a few times in this thread, dickgirls are like 5% of the overall sex content - the vast majority of your encounters are with regular females. And then when you do run into a dickgirl, you'll have to actively pick the dialogue choices that'll lead to sex content. They're not hidden or masked, it's a simple "Yes I want to see your junk, let's get frisky!" type of stuff, it's hard to miss or mistake it for something else. Again, the point is to let you pick the content you want, not trick you into seeing things you dislike.
