So, it's finally time to play.it brings Save/Load functionality to ToLLA
Haha yeah I remember you mentioned buying it in the femdom-finder thread I think?BTW I forgot I bought the game on itch Do the releases on itch appear earlier than the public ones?
There's 1 lewd scene available right now (but it's a big, branching CYOA). So, about 20-ish minutes of lewd content, and some 5-6 hours of non-lewd (depending on how much of the story and NPC dialogues you explore). We have another lewd scene in the works coming with the next update, but it's not currently available in this version. Can anyone tell me how much content there is in this game, is it just Elf Sex or is there more?
unfortunate... and I would rather risk text corruption than be forced into full screen mode.readme said:* try to avoid alt-tabbing in/out of the game while you're playing, it's been known to corrupt the text display and show empty messages during talks!
* run the game in fullscreen mode, as per its default setting after it starts up... reducing it to windowed mode can corrupt the text and/or cause crashes!
these are terrible advice.readme said:TROUBLESHOOTING - If the game itself won't start (white screen), try the following:
(1) make sure you've extracted the main 'ToLLA' folder to the Desktop, and that it wasn't renamed in the process!
(2) try running the game as Admin
(3) temporarily disable any firewall, antivirus, and parental content control(s)
Did you guys have plans to be able to replay some scenes (for example the intro one) so we can see other "choices" ?There's 1 lewd scene available right now (but it's a big, branching CYOA). Be glad it's not more, our scripter wanted to set it much higher.Yeah Im not doing that collect 100 nodes quest
That bulletpoint list is there to consult if something breaks or you run into glitches. Yes, you *can* play the game in windowed mode, but it's not a supported feature. Doesn't mean you shouldn't make the attempt if you hate fullscreen so much - give it a try in windowed and see how it goes, maybe you won't have any issues.unfortunate... and I would rather risk text corruption than be forced into full screen mode.
Untrue. It helped a lot of people play Build#1 when it came out and some had trouble with it (mostly due to things like filepath names, background processes, or which location the game was extracted to). I don't expect you to read through dozens of previous posts, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't make blanket statements like that.these are terrible advice.
Yes, there will be a Gallery feature in the future.Did you guys have plans to be able to replay some scenes (for example the intro one) so we can see other "choices" ?
Just because something works, does not mean it is a good idea.Untrue. Not to get too pedantic, but you do realize that the advice in that list is a final-step measure, right? You're not supposed to do it right off the bat. There's a bunch of other suggestions you can and should work through from the list before you ever get to the point of disabling your malware detection. And yes, some antivirus programs are so aggressive that they block games from running, or interfere with them to the point they're unplayable. You should not be disabling your computer's security to run a game, even if doing so makes the game run.
The steps are there to offer additional help in case of problems. Weighing the pros and cons is up to the end user.Just because it works doesn't mean it is a good idea to do something.
FYI, Anti-Virus apps have been known to cause issues for indie apps or 3rd party programs. Disabling your AV is always a troubleshooting steps for pretty much every app that isn't Microsoft.Just because something works, does not mean it is a good idea.
You should not be disabling your computer's security to run a game, even if doing so makes the game run.
Also, if you want to whitelist a specific program from your antivirus (something that is extremely rare), then you should use the anti virus whitelist functionality instead of outright disabling it.
As for the desktop. it would be better advice to say to extract it to a low level folder with simple name. such as C:\games\H\aphrosia\
as the desktop could be located in a badly named subfolder if you have something like microsoft onedrive.
I am well aware of what a false positive is.FYI, Anti-Virus apps have been known to cause issues for indie apps or 3rd party programs. Disabling your AV is always a troubleshooting steps for pretty much every app that isn't Microsoft.
Finally some actual good advice.Alternatively you can try using different AV software that's less intrusive.
It is listed as step 3 out of 5. before updating drivers. with no qualifications or warningsbut you do realize that the advice in that list is a final-step measure, right?
